About ViciECM

ViciECM is a complete document management and business process management system integrated with core DMs and workflow functionality. ViceECM includes an integrated OCR engine, full text search, workflow with annotations and comments, and zone OCR/ICR for form processing.

With document capture features document scanning module, automatic documentation compression, and electronic file upload. Document classification has configurable folder hierarchies, import of standard folder lists, barcode based auto-classification, and more. Multi-channel access from web browser based access with standard browsers and Windows client application for scanning. There's user and user group management with multi-tiered access permissions. Version control and notifications allow for check in, check out, and history. Electronic workflow management provides GIU based workflow process designer and e-Form designer.

ViceECM offers multi channel support for web browsers, Windows desktop client application with core DMs and workflow functionality, and native mobile applications for IOS and Android. ViciECM solution implementation and rollout can be completed in around 1-2 calendar weeks.

What I like about ViciECM is it's easy to configure and setup your workflow. It is also easy to customize. Very good security for your data

VICIECM as an EDMS Solution

Overall It's a wonderful Software for Small & medium scale operations. Could be useful for large Enterprises too provided their expectations are limited to EDMS. The software has served our purpose of digitazing all our customer documents including PDC's.

Pros:

I've found VICIECM to be a straight forward product that works on established core Software principles. It delivers exactly what the Software is meant to do with mostly easy to use GUI & options. The product doesn't complicate itself with too many unnecessary options & do not venture into areas that's outside its core framework & customer expectations.

Cons:

The software needs to improve a bit on the security assignment policies & management where I've found it to drag a bit once you have accumulated data. The company can also think of integrating an efficient, cost effective OCR into their product.

ViciECM Experience for Social Security Institutions

We use ViciECM to archive old payments using RMS, manage new payment workflows and also replace all physical movement of files using DMS, especially during the COVID 19 period.

Pros:

The most usable piece of this software is the ability to depict the physical flow of any job into a system-managed workflow. It doesn't end there, it actually gives your a way to edit and manage these workflows.

Cons:

It takes more time to have the technicians trained. Above all, you cannot manage the workflows without the software managers/owners getting involved.
