Site24x7 is a cloud-based website and server monitoring platform that helps small to large size businesses monitor websites, servers, clouds, networks, applications and real-time users. The platform enables users to derive insights on uptime, web applications’ performance, internet services and private networks.

Prime features of Site24x7 include the monitoring of website performance, web page speed (browser) monitoring, DNS servers, website availability, website defacement monitoring, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) speed, Representational State Transfer (REST) API, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/ Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates and more.

Site24x7 also allows mobile access. The product is available on a monthly subscription plan and support is extended via phone, email and an online help desk.

A better tool to monitor internet services

Using Site24x7 is fantastic. Monitoring of services is much easier.

Pros:

I love the proactive monitoring capability of Site24x7. Because it uses multiply sites or datacentres in it services , you are able to pick quickly from the dashboard when services starts degrading. With it RUM feature, it is easy to monitor the user experience of customers from multiple locations and even tell what users are doing wrong.

Cons:

I just do not like the plenty alerts sent when degradation starts

Great app at a very veasonable cost

Since we started using site24x7 monitoring of our entire infrastructure has improved a lot. Also the mobile app is very helpful to keep track all the monitors and alerts. It has been a service with excellent reliability.

Pros:

Greate customization and options for infraestructure monitoring. We have used the platform over the last 10 years. Security is also something that constantly concerns us, but it has not been a problem with Site24x7. It has a huge amount of functionalities and integrations to monitor all kind of infraestructure, at a reasonable cost. We haven't experienced any bugs or issues.

Cons:

The interface could be more intuitive and modern. Also when we started to use the platform, the initial configuration was a little hard.

It had all our needs and also it represented an improvement on our costs.

Reasons for switching to Site24x7

We used Monitis. The company was sold to TeamViewer and the new platform didn't meet our requirements.

Site 24x7 gives us real-time alerting on our critical infrastructure needs, no matter where we are. It also provides us with deeper insights into our infrastructure, allowing us to detect and prevent issues before they arise.

Cons:

The User Interface for Site 24x7 looks pretty but is overwhelming given the sheer number of available options.

i have good experience with site24x7. We have switched from nagios which is open source to site24x7 monitoring by zoho.

site24x7 give is variety and options to monitor various applications. Site24x7 have big range of custom plugins which do the job very well.

Cons:

some of the parameters give alert and notifi9cation very late like windows update. when server is in reboot state , and when it came up, windows monitor shows down.

Huge catalogues of monitors, ease of deployment, fair pricing model. Mobile app push notifications are very handy for on-call engineers

Cons:

Advanced monitors are a bit pricey. Actually I didn't plan to write more of what I like least, but Capterra requires 100 characters )

Zabbix is good as well, but it cannot provide geo-distributed monitoring or mobile probe

SMB value for SaaS infrastructure monitoring

We initially purchased the service for server infrastructure monitoring, but quickly began using other features such as ping, website monitoring, website speed, application checks, and more. It has been a reliable service and tool, and we haven’t found anything that fits better.

We have used Site24x7 for over four years. It was quick to set up, we used many of the monitoring tools for troubleshooting clients and multiple sites. Having a hosted monitoring app has been invaluable. The uptime of the product has been fantastic.

Cons:

Site24x7 is affordable, it can quickly get pricey due the monitor “types”. The monitoring thresholds are very customizable, but the new “AI” monitoring needs to get better. You still must set a combination of thresholds and AI baselines on the monitors.

Provided infrastructure needs that the other products didn't offer. Also, we wanted SaaS and the price was better.

Impressive reports and advanced automation

Overall site 24x7 is good in all aspects, it provides many features in the monitoring services and multiple monitoring services like hybrid cloud, network monitoring, website monitoring, multiple accounts, license allocating, schedule maintainence, notifications and many advanced features but need to work on cloud spend and license allocation.

In site 24x7 i like the scheduled reports, custom metrics and notifications, plugins, automation and multiple account in 1 single dashboard and all services in single dashboard multiple services like cloud, website and hybrid monitoring, easy configuration and implementation and many more features.

Cons:

in site 24x7 least like part is managing licensing and there are also hidden feartures also in cloudspend need more granular breakdown of spend resources for cost optimization, little confusing in billing part and host monitor and their generated report is very complex.

we first tried the open-source product as it was free and we can modify on our requirement but we didn't found it much useful so we choose site 24x7 because this product fulfill all the needs like reports, custom notification, hybrid monitoring and doesn't required agent installation for basic monitoring which other product doesnt fullfill as it is not a best practices of security.

Very happy it manager!

Great, sales team aren't pushy and are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Have been there when we needed them but also left us alone when we asked to "play with the system"

Easy to set up and create dashboards. The process of adding monitoring to not only hardware (servers etc) but also our Azure Subscriptions was easy and quick with the walkthroughs being well documented and very easy to follow

Cons:

Limited vendor support for firewall (Cisco/Meraki) would be nice to see Fortinet and other vendors, other than that very happy with the product so far!

Our monitoring offers extensive customization. It’s resilient, integrates seamlessly with webhooks, and has reshaped how we approach observability. With granular thresholds, custom routing, and actionable alerts, we detect risks earlier and reduce firefighting.

Cons:

I encountered limitations with the native third-party tools; to mitigate them, I implemented a webhook that standardized event delivery, reduced latency, and made our alerting far more dependable.
