About Azure Blob Storage

Azure Blob Storage is a cloud storage software designed to help businesses store and stream documents, archives, videos and other unstructured data. The platform enables managers to process data using HDInsight, Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics on a unified interface.

Administrators can create data lakes to store analytical data required for building cloud-native and mobile applications. Azure Blob Storage allows teams to encrypt existing information and utilize Microsoft Power BI to visualize data on a centralized dashboard. Additionally, supervisors can configure role-based access permissions for staff members and manage identities via Azure Active Directory.

Azure Blob Storage provides policy-based access control, end-to-end lifecycle management and write once, read many (WORM) storage. Pricing is available on a usage basis and support is extended via phone, email, FAQs, knowledge base and an online contact form.

Great cloud storage

Overall experience is smooth and hassle free as per of cloud , I personally used for VM and will continue to use.

Pros:

I most liked about this software is wide storage for linked application and writing to the logs file directly which help to track the record in safer way.

Cons:

The feature I least used is serving images directly to the browser which I fell of low importance , other things are fine

Best Solution to manage Frequently/In-frequently Data accessment

My Experience has been great deploying configuring it for on-premise users as their Secondary Date Drive for sharing files among their Teams.Also, I have deployed it as an attached disk for Virtual machines whose data aren't frequently accessed.

Pros:

I like the fact that I can configure how my data is being accessed to save cost. These are the HOT COLD and ARCHIVE options.

Cons:

Since I have been using the software, there hasn't been any least feature I can point out yet.

My overall experience with this product was quite good i mean its not completely bad its usable and convenient for usage although its bit costly compared to another service.

Pros:

Most I liked about this service is that without moving data anywhere else we can run analytics on data there itself another thing is for security there are many features using which we can make sure data never gets on wrong hands.

Cons:

Its bit costly according to me .As there are other services also for data storage this one seems costly whereas other cloud providers are much cheaper with wide geographical regions all over the world.

Totalement intégré à l'environnement Microsoft, il est facile intégrable à une application .NET et bien d'autres. Le stockage est performant (cold ou hot storage) et le coût mesuré.

Cons:

Comme tout élément dans le cloud, il n'est pas forcément évident de savoir précisément le coût réel mais les prix restent mesurés pour un tel produit.

If you have lots of data then store it virtually with Azure Blob

The experience has been good with archiving data, taking it as a part of our pipelines and also fast retrieval/accessing of data with client side data encryption as part of the safety.

Pros:

Azure blob storage is the best storage service on cloud which is very good in scaling up or down, also being flexible at the same time. Any amount of data can be stored without any storage restrictions. Physical storage can be tedious to manage but this is all virtual so not much to worry about the underlying hardware too. Also keeps the data secured with azure's security features built-in.

Cons:

Considering the point that it can take quite some time to integrate blob with other systems because there can be a lot of connections and configurations to do. Also, accessing data when it is huge can be a bit slower at times.

Pros:

What I like most is its scalability to store and manage a large quantity of unstructured data such as documents, images, videos or logs in a cost effective manner. It integrates perfectly with other Azure services (functions, machine learning) to build robust data-driven apps.

Cons:

It is very hard to manage and set up access control to the data. There are many security policies to study and learn the impact to ensure only authoruzed users can access or modify the stored data. Also, storing large volumes of data can have a high cost if you are concerned about pricing.
