Formstack Suite 2026: Benefits, Features & Pricing

I love that it allows me to gather information for my initial client meetings easily. I like that it lets my clients save and then pick up where they left off later.

I wish I could customize the forms just a little bit more.

I really like Formstack. After using it for several years, it's proven to be a quick and easy way for my employer to send me new projects. I appreciate how my workload is presented on the site and how the email reminders help me stay on top of new projects that are coming in.

I've only encountered a few issues related to PDF file size, but this is usually easily remedied by removing the initial file and reuploading the material.

It provides a nice interface to handle collecting information and signatures. The learning curve is a little steep but once you get the hang on it, the process is not too bad. The system is stable, we never had an issue with crashing or loosing data. There are several ways to collect data, complete documents and collect signatures including embedded forms, web links, a mobile application, etc.

I did not like that you had to switch between different applications in order to complete a document. We had to use FormStack Forms to collect the user information and signatures in a web form, then this data including the signature was transferred to Formstack documents in order to generate the completed and formatted PDF. This results in the document that the client signed is not really the final document. They signed a web form and then their signature was transferred to a different document prior to them ever seeing the other document. I also did not like the lack of desire to fix bugs even with handed the solution on a silver platter. In March 2021 I identified a problem where when using a windows touch screen computer to sign on a webform, the form would interpret the movement as scrolling instead of signing and just move the page up and down. I went as far as to identify the specific cause of the bug as an outdated version of the jSignature plugin and provided them the solution. The author of the plugin had fixed this issue back in 2018 (github.com/brinley/jSignature/issues/157) but FormStack still has not implemented the fix. After over a year of not being able to fully use the system because we could not collect signatures on a windows touch screen computer we switched to a different platform. Really wasn’t use my marketing tream without need from developers

Could do with more licences but is a little cost prohibitive

The most I liked about formstack suite is the form creation very helpful with great service and fast response

The least I liked about formstack suite is the time the website loading I think it’s because there is too much data but beside that very good

It allows a centralized hub for requests from different departments

Allocating permissions for various employees is can be complicated

I love that it has strong integration capabilities and is able to handle various tasks like form creation and workflow automation.

I don't like the limited document templates, restrictive workflows, and occasional glitchy or slow performance.

How easy it was to use and how great the customer service was

It was a bit difficult to set up to a while to actually get going

Easy to compile multiple forms and see a quick overview. Used this to compile scholarship application data.

Not having the ability to have features to sort the data.

Formstack is the best signature tool I have found. So easy to use and haven’t had issues with MAC or PC

I have only used the free trial so far but I think the cost is a bit high. I wish there was a cheaper option
