About Zoho Notebook

Zoho Notebook is a note-taking solution that helps businesses create color-coded notes, track version history, generate checklists, and more from within a unified platform. With the audio functionality, employees can record meetings, lectures, and other conversations for future reference.

Zoho Notebook enables staff members to capture and store images, PDF files, spreadsheets, and Word documents. Zoho Notebook is easy to use, a great choice for note taking.

5

Zoho Notebook allowed me to easily create my work notes and by automatically synchronizing them in the cloud they are always safe and there is not the slightest risk of losing them, at the same time they are accessible to me anytime, anywhere, it is a great tool to take notes, the UX is comforting thanks to the usability it offers, its great design and the accessibility it provides to the information stored there.

Pros:
Zoho Notebook allows me to create, store and manage my personal and work notes easily, it gives me accessibility and portability to them regardless of device, place and time; with Zoho Notebook I can organize them in separate notebooks and add custom covers to differentiate them without much effort, also tag them to frame the degree of importance they represent to me, it is interesting to have the ability to add images, audios, links and other files from the desktop, it is also very useful its great integration with other Zoho online services: such as meetings, projects and Lens which are tools that we use in our department on a daily basis to develop many of our work activities.
Cons:
I don't really have any negative comments to mention about Zoho Notebook, it works perfectly for me; it meets all my needs and fulfills all my expectations.

Great Cross-Platform Note-taking Software

5

Zoho Notebook is a really nice alternative to some of the other note-taking software available. I like it better than Microsoft OneNote. I think I still like Apple Notes better since I use a MacBook Pro and iPhone.

Pros:
It is both simple and beautiful in design. Also, it is user-friendly.
Cons:
It doesn't offer a lot more than, say, Apple Notes. The functionality is similar. It mostly depends on if someone uses Apple across the board and/or wants a change.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

I gave it a try to see if I liked one better than the other. I still prefer Apple Notes, but would switch if I used a device outside of just Apple.

Great for organizing your life!

5

Zoho Notebook is simple to use and you do not need any tutorial due to its user-friendly design. It offers features such as any other organization app, but it also comes with important attributes. This app may be perfectly used for work, education, and personal purposes; also, it comes with the ability to share your notes with family and friends, so they can collaborate with you. Zoho Notebook is nice and quick to use to organize your daily tasks and add different types of notes: draws, texts, files, audio notes, etc.

Pros:
Zoho allows you to use different notebooks in which you add your notes, audio notes, to-do lists, etc. This helps me to organize my life as I can use one notebook for personal stuff and another one for work content. The fact that I can create an audio note in moments when I cannot type is excellent, and it gets stored just as other text notes. This app also offers you the option to merge different lists (one list will be deleted and its elements will be added to the other list). On the other hand, one of my favorite features of Zoho Notebooks is that I can create shortcuts for each of my notes and add them to my main screen and tap them for quick access.
Cons:
When creating to-do lists, the app does not give you the option to add sub-categories to each task. This is a great improvement opportunity for grocery lists, work, and personal projects, etc.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

I wanted to try a new app that offers a wider range of customization, such as adding audio notes when I cannot type.

It works, it's free.

5

Well like I said in the title, Zoho Notebook is free. Doesn't cost me a penny. It works, rather well. So what more could you ask for? Sure, it could be tweaked, but overall for a free app I think they've hit a home run.

Pros:
Zoho Notebook is a free note taking app. Get it on almost any device. Has all of the core note features.
Cons:
Zoho Notebook doesn't include all of the fancier features that may be seen in other products. It wouldn't be so bad to see more task management features.

Reasons for choosing Zoho Notebook

I'm not a fan of Microsoft and opted to try zoho first

A Great Tool if You Already are Zoho Service user (not recommended if you are already not)

It's definitely not a bad tool, however, if you are specifically looking only for note-taking, then there are better tools available. One such tool is Notion

Cons:
The tool is very limited as compared to several other note-taking apps out there in the market.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

I am just testing and trying out as much software as possible to figure out the best one for me that fits my needs and my budget.

No freeze ups

4

I actually liked zoho notebook! I wasn't expecting to like it but it has some unique qualities. It functions better than the more popular digital notebooks I've used. I wish it was more modern overall. It looks like it's 5-10 years old and the margins and menus are gray.

Pros:
From the dashboard- write, record, capture, or create to do lists. I read the help card and it was indeed helpful. When starting a Notebook a colorful eye catching cover is assigned to it, really helps you find the right Notebook fast! Arrange notebooks and pages in any order, similar to how apps can be arranged on your phone. Formatting options and background color options. Customize and insert a table. Add lines for separation. Best of all, no freeze ups and no sluggishness when working on a large note.
Cons:
I was surprised that there was no option to change the faunt. The page can't be zoomed in or out. The draw/write option only has pencil, pen, or highlight in one color. To do lists can't have tasks and sub tasks. It was hard to get used to the setup and find out how to perform certain functions.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

After we started using a team software to keep most of our notes I no longer needed these, only a simple notebook that I could use for the notes that are independent to my work.

Decent process for importing from Evernote (though I did have to email support for help). The forums seem to be monitored daily, but there isn't any direct support. I have some concern about this before switching permanently.

Pros:
Very nice interface, available on most platforms. Has a feature to import from Evernote, which works reasonably well.
Cons:
Desperately needs a "list view" and advanced search functionality. Being able to search on single terms only (no logic) is very tough for larger notebooks.

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

The new version (v10) of Evernote is pretty, but functionally horrible. It's extremely slow, and most keyboard shortcuts are gone. I reverted to v6 to retain sanity, and am trying out alternatives.

Zoho for notes

Overall, I would say it is a pretty good software to keep track of your task and take quick notes. But I kinda shifted to notability as I found that more useful than Zoho. But then again it totally depends on individual needs.

Cons:
The thing I didn't like about this software was the User interface as it didn't look as good as I was hoping for. Also, there is no list view so it gets difficult sometimes to navigate through your notes..

Reasons for switching to Zoho Notebook

I came across Zoho assuming it will be better than Evernote.
