Practicality and efficiency

Very practical for visual collaboration and brainstorming. It allows ideas to flow freely without forcing a rigid structure. I am fully satisfied.

my overall experience is very positive, i use it in most of my workshops. and my teams are very happy with the way we use it. If you're looking to help your creativity, collaborate and have fun while getting things done, this is a great tool.

Pros:

i like how it adapts to the current contexts (working from home, distributed teams. It is a very useful tool for brainstorming, collaborating and very easy to use. You can use it for management. It's a tool that is adaptable to different industries (eg, iT, Health, etc) . My company pays mi license and it has a great ROI. And if you want to go deeper into understanding miro , they have available workshops and courses for FREE. And you can become a creator (miroverse), so there are different layers where miro helps.

Cons:

If you have an endless board it might take a bit to load but nothing major. I am talking of a real big board.

Pros:

You can create beautiful visual displays and share them with a team to plan and brainstorm. We have one board with multiple years of department planning on it. It makes updating and moving stickies from one year to another a breeze.

Cons:

It has a high learning curve. For those I work with who are looking at a teaching tool, Miro requires them and their students to learn a new tool apart from Canvas which can be overwhelming.

Miro is a great way to visualize

Miro has been great for visualizing things for our customers. We have had some really great meetings due to Miro. When looking at this from a forward looking perspective though, Miro becomes a challenge to data security and data retention.

Pros:

Miro can be an awesome tool for visualizing ideas and organizing thoughts. The features and plugins are great and the support from the customer support team has been great as well.

Cons:

Once you're in Miro, your data is kind of trapped in the application. There are ways to export but there are size limits on exporting. What makes it more difficult is that there is no way to track the overall size of your board while you're designing it so when it comes time to export, I find myself breaking things into many smaller boards or frames. If we knew this before trying Miro, we probably would have looked into alternatives. Now we feel stuck.

Miro gets the work done perfectly and in the right way. It is easy for any one who is new to Miro to understand how to use Miro because it has a user-friendly interface. Managing products with Miro is simple and this makes my work easy.

I haven't had challenges with Miro for me the journey is smooth.

its collaborative and easy to use once people get the hang of it. The projects and the data are not lost even after the project is over.

Cons:

Initially it takes time to get used to it. It seems its plug and play but the nuances like locking and editing are tricky.

Great tool to map out diagrams

I love it. The team mostly uses Figma to build roadmaps. I was having trouble with it so I switch to Miro, however, I'm solely using it for strategy diagrams for now.

How easy it is to start using. I didn't need a tutorial, granted I've used Figma to draw out digrams which is way harder to learn and perfect.

Cons:

Just like Figma, why Is it so hard to zoom in and out as well as move throughout the board. There needs to be an easier way to do this. I always lose the board that I'm working on.

Reasons for switching to Miro

I switch from Figma Jam and Figma were too complicated to use. The learning curve is too high. The other team members still use Figjam.

Great tool for collaboration - could use minor ease-of-use adjustments

This is a great planning and drafting tool for a team that desires flexibility and a less restrictive collaboration experience. The visuals are fun and engaging in a way that adds to the client experience when conducting exercises with external parties, as well. Some additional duplication and connection features would speed up the mapping process, however with time users become accustomed to the functionality and, overall, the tools are quite workable.

The navigation between screens and shared viewing/user tracking are extremely intuitive and allow for co-working without requiring a restrictive experience via single-user screenshare.

Cons:

The text organization and merging of mapping items could be more intuitive. For users that are particular about the cleanliness of their visuals, expect to take some time to revisit your work to create a uniform experience.

What our company likes most about Miro is how easy it makes collaboration. Our teams can brainstorm, plan, and share their ideas in real-time when they are out in the field.

Cons:

Overall, our company finds very few downsides to this product. If I were to mention one thing it would have to be, there can be a small learning curve and occasional performance issues with very large boards.
