About iTacit

iTacit is a workforce app designed to simplify communication and improve engagement between employers and teams. This solution is suitable for organizations in various industries including healthcare, government, banking, manufacturing, plus more. It can be used by HR teams, internal comms, and operational leaders to share critical updates, messages, and new training with remote and in-office employees. The iTacit app is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.

Within the iTacit workforce app, organizations can access various modules, including Connect, Educate, Engage, and Operate. Connect can be used to manage role-based messaging, notice boards and polls, documents, and usage reports. Educate is an LMS module that features course authoring, automated learning paths, and compliance tracking. Additional iTacit tools include recruiting and onboarding, performance management, form builder, automation workflows, plus more.

Pricing is per user on a monthly subscription basis. Support is available via phone, email, and other online resources.

A new user

Currently, our training platform does not integrate with the policy platform and training is tracked manually; several training modules are purchased as new staff are oriented to the organization and no refresh training is done. With iTacit, we will end contracts with the policy and training platform, automate training compliance tracking and enhance the employee experience with annualized asynchronous, self scheduled refresher training. The people at iTacit are extremely helpful, insightful and patient with me as I build the platform for our use. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] earn their super hero capes on a regular basis and I thank them for it!

Pros:

the software is fairly intuitive once you are accustomed to the terminology (i-course, knowledge program). Visually appealing and easy to navigate as an administrator and end user

Cons:

Building pages in the software are fairly limited; for example, image placement on a page seems to be limited to left, centre and right with no ability to have the text squared with it as in WORD or PowerPoint. Media Libraries and permission groups seem to be independent of each module and it would be helpful if they were linked or a central library could be referenced by the various modules.

Great software!

My overall experience with iTacit has been great, I find that their IT support team is excellent. Anytime I have issues or I'm not sure how to proceed, they're very helpful - will send me videos (how to's), screen shots or even set up a meeting so we can chat.

Pros:

We launched ITacit during the beginning of the pandemic, I think this was a perfect time to launch this new employee intranet as we needed to be more connected than ever. The notice board is a great way to share important information / tips for our employees. It even saves us from sending mass emails.

Cons:

The administrative side is a bit more complicated or sometimes does not have all the options that I'm looking for (ex. delete a survey after launching it, the way that the survey results look like), the look of it isn't as user friendly as the iTacit (2.0).

Reasons for switching to iTacit

Wanted a more user friendly, better communication tools, survey options, etc. A new look.

Pretty good software overall, the Notice Board is visually pleasing with the option to comment and like posts, similar to facebook.

Cons:

Surveys are complicated to set up but gets better with use. Could have some improvement on this regard.

Our other intranet was outdated and did not have all the features we needed.

Training Program is one of the best!

iTacit has been great to work with and I would highly recommend any company contacting iTacit before they finalize their agreement for training and support with some other company.

The people who work for iTacit are very knowledgeable on the services they provide their customers. Anytime I've had problems or questions, the Help Desk staff respond on a timely basis.

Cons:

I've not had any issues with iTacit since we started working with them in 2021.

iTacit LMS Platform

I joined the company after they had adopted iTacit so I had to play catch up as I took on the role. iTacit support was extremely helpful and responsive. They are easy to reach through email and they also provided several Rise courses which were detailed and walked through many of the administrative tasks in Bridge.

Pros:

Some of the best things about iTacit include the document library. It is a one stop shop for all job aids, policies, SOPs, quick references, etc. With this single source, version control is a breeze to maintain. We also rely on the "Forms" feature (additional cost for these users) to ensure specific protocol are followed at specific times by specific people. The customer service and responsiveness of iTacit is another plus. If you don't know how to do something, just ask!

Cons:

I think the difficulties I've had with iTacit would be that some areas of the platform seem to me to be a bit complex - as an average person, not an LMS expert or specialist. However, this level of complexity also means that you can do just about anything you want in terms of course creation and reporting, you just have to figure it out. And I believe they don't yet have a report to be able to run that will tell you the last login date for each user.

The iTacit team are incredible. I cannot say enough positive things about the entire process of setting up, launching and going live with this platform. iTacit has changed our training protocol in an impressive and wide spread way. We couldn't be happier with the results we are seeing. Users find it engaging and enjoy the Notice Board as an opportunity to stay connected with other locations. Administrators enjoy the ease of use.

Cons:

I really couldn't say there are any things I like least about iTacit. I could state a few very specific reports that I would like to see presented differently but they are so subjective to my personal preferences and uses that it would be unfair.

I enjoy working with our representative, he's number one in my book. Having analysis tools to facilitate the monitoring and compliance required, at our disposal, is key. The ability to have various knowledge programs to assist our stakeholders is beneficial as well. Ongoing improvements based on customer feedback is essential and the communication of these improvements are necessary and itacit excels at both!
