About Comcore

Comcore is a CTRM (commodity trading and risk management) solution that helps small to large businesses streamline processes related to Value-at-Risk (VaR) analysis, freight cost calculation, credit risk monitoring, and more on a centralized platform. It allows staff members to use the risk map functionality to review exposures based on multiple criteria, such as book, trader, strategy, and portfolio.

Comcore's inventory module enables staff members to track inventory movement across multiple storage facilities, including blending, onshore, and floating. Supervisors can utilize Monte-Carlo simulations to predict maximum losses and configure trading limits based on organizational requirements. Additionally, team members can calculate operational costs, such as inspection, demurrage, insurance, and freight from within a unified platform.

Comcore enables organizations to integrate the platform with several third-party accounting and enterprise resource planning (EPR) solutions. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via email, phone, and other online measures.

    Pros:
    I like that we have helped develop the database and suggest functionality for the system, the system is easy to use and as a whole and records the data we want. Developers are easy to communicate with and we are able to customize and improve some of the functions through a collaborative discussion.
    Cons:
    I think that as this was based on another programme, some of the ability to change things around is lost a little bit or needs more work to bring it to exactly where we want. I would like this to be a system to have a few more standardized reports within the system, which seems a bit more difficult to do

    Easy use and maintenance Access to many data table in the user interface
    Cons:
    Bugs (crash) the latency period when you ask the software to save a deal, or recalculate the deal when you are in the deal Not possible to get a deep breakdown on the daily variation according to specific criteria (new costs, cost updated or deleted), market variation, premium updated...)
