Overall the product it self is great. The pushing for people to sign up for a paid subscription is a bit much. So many emails.

Product is great. Surveys are easy to create a great deal of options for templates.Customer support is fantastic and respond extremely fast to questions and concerns.

Cons:

After a while you feel like you have to pay. The free version is nice but you aren't given the best options. Also the amount of times you get sent things to sign up for a paid option is kinda crazy.

Easy to use and functional survey platform

I have used SurveyMonkey for board member and employee surveys and am thrilled with how well it works. Being able to reuse and update previously-created surveys has saved me a lot of time, and my audience members have been able to take the surveys with ease. The options for displaying survey results have allowed us to create easy summaries that aid in decision-making, employee reviews, and policy-changes.

Easy to use, with flexible design options, great survey summaries. Can create a survey in minutes that are simple and straightforward for my audience. I appreciate that I can copy and update previous surveys that I made, so that I don't have to start from scratch every time.

Cons:

I don't have any complaints yet. I have used the platform for board member and employee surveys and it seems versatile enough to provide the privacy options we require.

Reliable, Flexible, and Affordable Survey Platform

Overall, SurveyMonkey has been a dependable tool that meets most of my needs without unnecessary complexity. It’s quick to get surveys up and running, offers clean analytics, and works well across teams. Despite a few technical and integration quirks, it remains my go-to survey solution due to its stability, affordability, and thoughtful design. At this point, I’m very satisfied and don’t see a reason to switch to another platform.

Pros:

SurveyMonkey makes it incredibly easy to design, configure, and launch surveys in just a few minutes. The interface is intuitive enough for beginners but still offers the kind of flexibility that power users appreciate. I especially like the logical flow builder, which allows for conditional questions and branching—features that are often locked behind complex setups in competing products. The platform also gives you solid options for customization, reporting, and data export. Considering the range of features, the pricing is very reasonable, offering great value for most business use cases.

Cons:

While the interface is well-designed overall, certain functions such as advanced rule configuration can feel a bit cumbersome. Adding complex logic often involves multiple steps that could be simplified. I also find it limiting that reminders can’t be easily set up through embedded surveys or URL-based links. Another small challenge has been with the Google Sheets integration—when using custom fields, the data ordering sometimes breaks, requiring manual cleanup.

Easy for users and responders

SurveyMonkey has proven to be a valuable resource internally for our organization. Surveys are easily generated, employees can quickly log their responses, an data can be retrieved quickly. I wish the design customization options were more broad, but it fits our needs for now.

It's easy to quickly log in and create a survey for general information gathering. Taking a survey using the SurveyMonkey is very easy and straight forward. The templates available are helpful, and data analyzation is relatively easy to figure out.

Cons:

Visually it could be more appealing and the customization is lacking compare to other platforms. Tier based pricing means the accessible features at the lowest basic level are very limited.

Survey Monkey

It was great. When we would send out marketing info we would tap into survey monkey for additional info. IT also helped offset complaints. Because we would give the option of a survey. And if someone complained we could ask if they completed the survey. And, also, use the data from the survey as a reference point for feedback to resolve many situations.

I liked how easy it is to get feedback from anyone. It can be our clients, our team, etc. We just send it out and then we get the info we need.

Cons:

I think just wanting to customize the data a bit more in terms of our results. But beyond that we were very pleased with survey monkey.

Survey Monkey is a great way to get team feedback anonomously and helps get true information to gain insight. It can be something as easy as a contest prize or a bit more complex like HR information. I found it very easy to navigate and use for employees.

Cons:

I didn't find any cons to Survey Monkey. It was very easy to set up and to see the results from the surveys. I would recommend this to peers in the future.
