Due to Web-Based technology, it was very logical to keep a centralized database for all remote location outlets. Reducing the risk of error while importing/exporting of data in between Head Office & remote sites. Improved business processes, communication, & followup in between remote sites. Our ERP & information is accessible to users & managers at anytime and on any device, thus achieving the Organisational objectives of mobility & ease of doing business.

Overall Experience

Our search for a meaningful, implementable and cost-effective ERP solution went unabated for many years. It was an arduous task to find and ERP meeting our distinct requirements. Every such explore with new ERPs met with perturbing results. Most ERPs suggested large scale customization with heavy price tag. Fortunately our endless search and struggle ended with successful testing of DataNote. The most striking feature of DataNote is self-customization of Input Screens with validations, full control over the client Database that most ERP vendors do not offer and thereby dictate terms with clients.

Self customization of Input Screens, Validations as per requirements, Full access to Database, Crystal Reports connectivity, User support

Cons:

1. Response time is low at times in some modules. Especially terms and conditions. 2. Inserting additional fields in the table is painful. There are many fields one has to browse through and one does not know whether these are mandatory fields used by others. 3. If possible, option required to delete unwanted fields that are not mandatory in nature and may not be required by client 3. Changes in the Field placement over the screen do not function 4. Option needed to select fields to be displayed in the grid 5. Option also needed to search on all these fields 6. At times the page turns un-responsive and needs to be refreshed resulting into the re-entry of data 7. User-manual not available for the SW and its flow

Reasons for choosing DataNote

Flexibility of customization, Database access with full privileges and connectivity of Crystal Reporting tool.

Reasons for switching to DataNote

Wasn't flexible enough to meet distinct requirements, Covered just part of the enterprise requirements and had to use other in-house developed Add-ONs to consolidate the business requirements.

Very nice ERP for machinery manufacturing units

Very nice erp system for inventory and costing management. We have been using DataNote ERP since 2018 and so far we are very much satisfied. Kudos to [SENSITIVE CONTENT].

User-friendliness of the system is at par. So far we have used so many systems but DataNote is different in terms of access.

Cons:

I found that the support from some of their channel partners are not proper.

Very simple and easy to use. GUI is very simple... Not complicated like other plate form.. Overall experience is good

Cons:

There is no specific cons of this software. Ticketing system can be improved to resolve the query.

Pros:

The biggest advantage of Datanote software is that it can be customised by the user themselves to a certain extent. Other major pros are: 1) Simple but elegant design and layout. 2) Easy to navigate with different pages

Cons:

1) It must have a single point installation. 2) Must have user manual or web based tutorials. 3) Support is good but can improve further. 4) Simple things like spelling errors etc must not be there. 5) More options needed for report exporting etc.
