The software enables companies to visualize, monitor and improve their entire value chain - from the production to the finance department, from product development to customer management. On Premise and in the proALPHA Business Cloud.

In terms of specialization the software covers selected industries within the SME sector with our ERP solution.

This is due to the creators of the software being convinced that SMEs are not served by adapting a highly complex software. Medium-sized companies are not miniaturized large corporations. They are very special companies that are often also global players and global champions, but still have completely different requirements.

proALPHA 6.2e

Wir setzten proALPHA schon seit über 20 Jahren ein und sind grundsätzlich nicht unzufrieden damit. Ob die eingesetzte Technologie noch zukünftsfähig ist, wird sich zeigen. Was allerdings kritisch ist, dass neuere Betriebssystem nicht (sofort) unterstützt werden.

Pros:

Über proALPHA decken wir einen großen Teil unserer Geschäftsprozesse ab. Das System läuft sehr stabil und ist relativ schnell wieder verfügbar bei Problemen mit der Infrastruktur (On-Premise).Die Oberfläche bietet Möglichkeiten für den Benutzer, Programme schnell zu finden und die Datenfenster effizient einzurichten.

Cons:

Der Kundensupport wird gefühlt immer schlechter, weswegen wir den Support bei einem anderen Dienstleister platziert haben. Neue Module sollten vor dem Produktiv-Start gut getestet werden, da meistens Softwarefehler enthalten sind. Die Konnektivität zu anderen Systemen könnte deutlich besser sein. Unsere eingesetzte Version 6.2e ist unter Windows 11 nicht mehr lauffähig.
