About eGoldFax

eGoldFax is a cloud-based fax server solution designed to help businesses in healthcare, education, financial services and other sectors send, receive and retain documents using multiple devices. It allows enterprises to maintain compliance with various regulatory standards such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and more.

eGoldFax enables organizations to secure emails, fax archives and the customer portal using Transport Layer Security (TLS), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit and Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). Built on Microsoft Azure, the platform lets professionals send documents as email attachments to recipients' fax numbers. Additionally, it helps businesses fax files from various multi-function printers (MFPs).

eGoldFax's pricing is available on request and support is extended via FAQs, email, phone, live chat and other online measures.

We have a dozen different fax number located in a few different locations and some of the numbers are very old. eGoldFax was very easy to work with even though there were multiple issues with the current carrier when we tried to port them. They spent many hours working to get everything completed and finally was able to get us running.

Cons:

The only negative thing was have=ing to work with our current carrier so much to get the numbers ported. Thank you eGoldFax for all of your help!

Extreme ease of use, security, and scalability - great for mom and pop to SMB!

Cons:

User accessible address book creation on the webpage would be nice! (Admin access required now, though users can enter from a device control panel if there is an EGoldfax integration.)

A solid dependable product

GoldFax customer support is excellent. They made the migration easy. The hardest part of a migration from traditional telco POTS lines is waiting around for the telco to complete the porting. GoldFax takes care of working with the telcos, though, which is really nice.

Pros:

GoldFax is easy to setup and rollout to end users. There really is no software to install. Users send and receive faxes from within Outlook. Other than informing users how to format an email to fax address there is virtually no training needed to use GoldFax. And, the product works day in and day out.

Cons:

It would be nice if there were different levels of administrator access to the GoldFax portal. For instance read-only access is desired for help desk personnel who may need to track a fax. System administrators need full access to make system changes. Improving the interface between GoldFax and copiers would also be nice. With the current web interface its hard to tell if the connection is live, if it was set up correctly, etc.

Reasons for switching to eGoldFax

Our FaxFinder was at end of support. They offered updated hardware, but dealing with Mitel is like working in the dark ages. We needed a modern supported product with modern features at a good price point.

We can fax from any computer in the office. Manage incoming faxes with ease. No more analog phone lines, wasted paper, fax machines, or unnecessary waiting on confirmations.

Pros:

Paperless faxing to multiple recipients at once - with automatic delivery confirmation returned to sender. Super easy - just email your electronic file to a fax number. Integration was effortless, just make the call - they do the rest.

Cons:

The only con would be less exercise not having to walk to/from the old style fax machine. You save time, money, paper, toner, printing, & filing.

Egold outbound faxing

Egold outbound faxing has given our office the ability to easily fax hundreds of faxes to other healthcare offices and pharmacies with ease.

The ability to have a printed confirmation page was a deciding factor for our office. Quick outbound faxing is a must and Egold has provided that for our office.

Cons:

If there is an outage, immediate notification is always appreciated.

I am a vendor, and we started selling eGoldfax to our clients in 2018. The product is so easy to use, training is minimal, support is second to none when it comes to dealing with any issue.

Ease of use and overall functionality. It just works very well when it is needed.

Cons:

There aren't any EMR API's yet. We are still able to find workarounds though.
