We look forward to more upgrades being able to post equipment specific within the platform.

Reasons for choosing Freight Genius

FG is easy to use and after a few loads anyone can book and progress their freight. Cost is attractive but it gives you all the bells and whistles of a higher priced TMS.

Pros:

Support team typically solves issues within the business day. The platform is customizable but the lead time is typically very long for implementation.

Cons:

The costs associated with the software are not favorable for our business unit. The development team doesnt have a trucking background and lead times to complete projects are often missed. The load times on the site are slow.

Customized features are utilized 100% of the time vs. what comes standard with out of the box buys. Pros:

I was working with building loads along with dispatching carriers, tracking the loads, and invoicing. The way this software would group the different stages made it very easy to work with.

Cons:

I had a few shippers/consignees with the same name but different addresses so it was a little annoying having to add a number or letter to get the system to recognize the difference.

Pros:

I like how simple it is to tender out a load.

Cons:

I wish pickup/delivery locations was a category that was able to be added to a view because a lot of times we pick up or delivery in the same city but at different locations. sometimes I wish you could put carrier charges when you're under the carrier tab
