About RouteXL

RouteXL is a cloud-based route planning and optimization solution for small and midsize businesses. This software is ideal for road transportation services such as ambulance services, moving services, taxi services and various other delivery services.

RouteXL offers route optimization feature which enables users to calculate the best route for multiple destinations and displays them in the optimal sequence. The routes can be printed or exported to various integrated navigation apps. The communication feature facilitates interaction between onfield drivers and back-office managers.

Users can manually enter the address in the app or can paste in multiple addresses from other programs. They can also export route maps to any navigation system and share them on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

This solution can be purchased on a per user per month basis and offers a community-based support site for its website, apps and API.

Pros:

Free! How can you beat that? Also, the software has the ability to add multiple stops and locations. It also has the ability to save previous routes and add details to each stop. Overall, RouteXL is very comprehensive.

Cons:

Could do a better job of guiding new users on how to use the product. There is a tutorial video, but it isn't in a very obvious spot on the site.

Pros:

I like that it is fully functional and has a lot of features for the price which is why I rated that section higher. I feel it could be more user friendly.

Cons:

I feel it could be more user friendly and intuitive. Hopefully the next update addresses this and then it would be a 5 star program
