Protel’s bookatonce.com is a cloud-based reservation solution designed for small hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, schools, etc. Hotel management and online booking are two primary modules of the solution.
The hotel management module allows users to take reservations, administrate guest data, manage rooms and generate invoices. The online booking module provides online reservations via hotel website, expedia.com or social networks such as Facebook. The details of the reservations are then transferred to bookatonce system. Users can also make modifications to reservations if a guest requests.
For the back office, bookatonce.com allows managers to define time periods for special rates and availability. They can offer discounted rates for children or seniors. Invoices can be modified in various ways—for example, by merging charges to create special packages or splitting them amongst guests. The reporting function generates reports for reservation, arrival and departure, cancellation and housekeeping information.

Ease of use, the user interface is pretty easy to operate, moreover it is nice to look at as well.

The system allows to book anywhere you are with your iphone. You can from sales perspective deal directly with your customer and quote their demand instantly. You avoid overbooking because all the systems are linked to bookatonce and the availability is shared with the hotel, on line tour-operators, and central system of reservation (chain, affiliate program...). You enforce the loyalty program because all the details of your client will be in the 360° view with all data (past stays, future bookings, preferences and revenues).
Is the first system for hotel to propose a direct connection to the pms software. The hotelier can in 20 min have a full system of mobile reservation when he decide to register bookatonce and get the app.
For a mobile application in the iphone we expect more and more functions to be able even to check in the client. The ipad app will complete very well the iphone app and permit the development of the nomad use of bookatonce.
