Specifically, RUN provided a straightforward, intuitive platform that allowed us to process payroll accurately and on time while accommodating the complexities of our workforce, including hourly employees, salaried staff, and job-costed labor. The integration of payroll with tax filings, compliance reporting, and year-end documentation reduced administrative burden and helped mitigate risk. We also appreciated ADP’s strong customer support and compliance expertise, which were particularly valuable in a regulated, multi-job environment such as construction. Overall, RUN supported operational consistency, scalability, and compliance, allowing our team to focus more on project execution and financial oversight rather than payroll administration.

Cons:

The main downside was not having a dedicated contact. Each time we called support, we spoke with someone new and had to re-explain our payroll setup, which could be time-consuming and less efficient.

Pros:

It's very easy to use as the employer and employee. I like that I have a lot of control over things and pretty easy communication with any help I need. Every customer service rep is very helpful. Most of all, I love my rep - [sensitive content hidden]

Cons:

ZipRecruiter doesn't get a ton of applicants. The pay structure doesn't work for sales companies very well - I have to onboard people as salary or hourly, even though they're not paid that way. This shows up on their check stub, which can be an issue. I also get really frustrated with the message that pops up every time I enter pay asking if I meant to pay the person that amount. It takes extra time and messes up the flow of entering payroll. I find the 401k website difficult to navigate and manage. It feels outdated, I can't usually find what I need.

I can’t really criticize anything about the software or the company because so far, the technical support and costumer support have surpassed my expectations.

An All in one HRIS Platform

RUN Powered by ADP is a great all in one HRIS platform, easy to use that supports HR from start to finish. Their customer support is exceptional with expert assistance readily available.

Pros:

One of the best features in RUN is CareerPlug, it's helped the implementation process for new employees run so smoothly. Plus, given us very qualified applicants.

Cons:

An issue that we least like is the system difference and having to manage Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time between RUN and Time & Attendance.

Review ADP Again

Sometimes when I am logged into the system it times me out and when it does, It is so hard to log back in. The payroll feature is no longer there and I have to log out / log in maybe 5-10 times to get back to what I was doing.

Pros:

What I liked most about RUN Powered by ADP was how intuitive and reliable the platform is. It streamlines payroll, tax filings, and compliance in one place, making it easy to manage payroll accurately while saving time and reducing stress for both employers and employees.

Cons:

The Timeclock - I dislike it. The hours come over into the payroll but the overtime / holiday pay does not carryover property and they must be adjusted. There are no alerts saying someone forgot to clock out. It is easy to just approve the payroll without going into each employee to edit times, which is a required task.

ADP - We're in this Together!

Excited to share our journey with ADP! Transitioning from our previous payroll provider wasn’t easy, but the ADP team truly won us over. While onboarding had its challenges—several attempts from October to November due to setup issues—the support we received made all the difference. In December, we successfully ran our first payroll! It wasn’t perfect, but it was a big milestone. Now, as I work on our second payroll, I’m finding the system intuitive and easy to navigate. Whenever I hit a roadblock, the specialists are just a call away and always ready to help. A huge shout-out to [sensitive content hidden] for their outstanding support throughout this process. Pros:

I like how easy it is to log in, employees can update their own info alleviating my liability for accuracy. I've been using Run by ADP for almost 15 years and I've never had an issue! Jump in and use ADP -- other sources I've tried weren't nearly as helpful or easy. Chat function is helpful as well as getting a real person on the line!

Cons:

I haven't had any issues. I don't know why this requires to have 100 characters -- if there are no issues, there's no issue.
