Ferretly - fast, easy, valuable screening

Outstanding. This is so fast, easy and inexpensive, it seems irresponsible to go without it! Have not needed any hands-on support from them to date.

Pros:

This is extremely easy to use, and quickly provides a valuable score that allows me to identify potential risks, or to get more comfortable with a candidate. The value of this far exceeds the nominal cost.

Cons:

Frankly, I don't see any cons - why not have this extra check in your hiring process. I suppose you could get a "false" reading, but you have the ability to look into flagged posts for yourself and decide if they are relevant.

The best in the business

Our overall experience has been excellent. When there have been challenges to be addressed, Ferretly has been a true partner and we value our relationship with them and the ability to have access to such a valuable tool highly.

Pros:

We provide cloud based software to law enforcement agencies. Ferretly is an integrated feature in our software and it is important that law enforcement agencies are able to conduct screenings that are tailored specifically to their needs. Ferretly has been excellent in this regard, which, when combined with the excellent functionality of their solution, makes them the best in the business, in my opinion.

Cons:

The service itself is always being improved and it would be unfair to try to think of something when nothing really pops up as a least favorite insofar as the feature set or functionality. I will say that we wish we were able to pay for use of the service in arrears instead of in advance, as that would align with the way we bill our customers, but in no way is the prohibitive or influential in terms of our preference or regard for the service.

Reasons for switching to Ferretly

Ferretly was much more willing to be responsive to the needs of our customers.

Integration with Ferretly was seamless. The report format is excellent and the flexibility for us to provide feedback on posts is helpful. I also love the ability to customize the reports for individual clients using the word search option.

Cons:

The main feature I would like to see improved is the summary section that contains the line graph. It has been confusing and is not labeled well.

Reasons for switching to Ferretly

The previous vendor never apologized for mistakes made when a post or account was missed and could not provide any explanation. The turnaround time was always at least 2 days and usually longer.
