Teams can print directly from within the label design solution but use computing technology such as virtual machines.

Helpful Product in out shipping and inventory processes

This does a great job for what we use it for. We have no need to look for another product as this one works for us

Pros:

I've used a lot of different labeling systems. Label view is the easiest to use out of the box.

Cons:

The price is a bit steep. But for stability and consistency, it's worth it.

Reasons for switching to LABELVIEW

LabelView helped improve our manufacturing processes and meet customer needs.

Overall positive experience. We have been using LabelView for many years and have upgraded multiple times. It fits well within our processes and has reduced labelling errors to nearly zero.

Pros:

Setting up Forms so that shop floor employees can enter data and generate labels for products without having access to the label layout. They key in a job number and all information can be pulled from the database.

Cons:

Printing multiple records from a database can be cumbersome and doesn't exactly happen automatically. Would also like to be able to piggyback multiple label templates at print time based on data from the database.

The software is not easy to connect to any other data systems to pass information into/out of.

Labeview by Teklynx stands out as an exceptionally user-friendly solution in the realm of label design and printing. Its intuitive interface ensures that even those new to the software can quickly become proficient, particularly following targeted training. As users engage with Labeview on a daily basis, their proficiency noticeably improves, leading to a seamless and more efficient workflow. This enhanced user capability not only boosts productivity but also significantly reduces the frequency and complexity of issues escalated to IT. In essence, Labeview empowers end users to independently manage and resolve many tasks, freeing up IT resources and contributing to a smoother, more self-sufficient operational environment.

Cons:

Not a big fan of the licensing feature using a licensing module on a PC/Server to run. We are in the cloud environment now, do the licensing checks from that. Have the PC/Server for off internet facilities. Alignment and fonts with the label printers can be time consuming at first.

Pros:

Labelview allows using template files that link to excel database files. You can use formulas in label fields and do things such as insert the current date automatically. We could not do what we do with such speed without labelview.

Cons:

There is nothing we do not like about labelview, it is always very versitile and meets and exceeds all of our needs.

Reasons for choosing LABELVIEW

The simple fact that the labels would link to our databases files over the server. We did not have to create a new label for each part # saving us tons of time in our setup and implementation.

Flexible and powerful label generating software.

It's worked for me in three different companies where I insisted on buying it, designing with it, and implementing it. It's always been stable.

Cons:

I couldn't find the "Rx" symbol in the library of graphics!

For what we do, the program is consistent. Very few hiccups. The customer support is A+. We maintain a subscription just for that to keep us in productions when there may be a issue.

The ability to free design the layout and pull data from our own spreadsheets

Cons:

We are a small user and we only pull data from spreadsheets. More database knowledge is needed to understand the other options of this program. There are many!

Good Overall

I have used Labelview for almost 30 years. The software is simple enough to use, but does everything I need, including product coding, barcodes and basic label design.
