With OPAL LABELMANAGEMENT users control the labeling process of products, shipping units and other assets that require labeling.
The native integration with SAP ECC or SAP S/4 Hana has the advantage that users can use the whole framework of the solution and have easy access to SAP resources such as the data, business processes, user management or electronic signature. The deep integration as well as the already existing familiarity of an organization with SAP applications and an already established organizational structure, maintenance and service concepts are key differentiators compared to external label management systems.
OPAL's Label Management offers interfaces to selected label design solutions from 3rd party vendors to create a label layout. OPAL LABELMANAGEMENT can import these layouts into SAP and link them to a product, customer or other parameter via conditions (sets of rules). When a label process is called, the data for the process is determined and transferred to the corresponding layout. If the printing process is not triggered automatically in the background, the user can also display a preview of the label before printing.
