LumaOne is a cloud-based solution that provides businesses with tools to create, manage and publish interactive videos on a centralized platform. Professionals can add animation elements, navigation instructions or surveys in videos according to requirements.

LumaOne allows organizations to import/export files on the platform and utilize the search functionality to retrieve specific video titles from the repository. Managers can store videos in a centralized database with information, such as the creator’s name, video type, language, date, updated date and more. Additionally, users can gain an overview of clients’ activities and behavior through actionable analytics.

Using the platform, it is really simple to make an interactive video. It has a great number of innovative options for creating interactive videos.

Cons:

I believe the UI and UX should be better. It is more difficult to use than other video editing tools.

Pros:

Our ability to create what we want when we want it. the video enhancement tools are amazing and i cannot find a comparative that mixes authoring and LMS.

Cons:

Given how powerful the software is it takes time to learn all the ways you can enhance your videos. Having an even more intuitive editing system would be amazing. That being said when ever we get stuck the team support so quickly!

Hippo > Luma

It is far from the worst, but also not near the best!

The platform is quite simple to use once you get used to it. The look and feel can be changed to match the company branding quite easily. Help is given as required and responded to quite quickly.

Cons:

Some functions which are core features in other programs (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.) Are not available on Luma1.

It's easy to learn how to use the features/functions, and lots of FAQ training have already been posted on the platform. Most importantly oi feel like the LumaOne platform has evolved since I started using it - the team is constantly building new features & capabilities.

User Activity & Completion Tracking, ease of transferring content onto and out of the platform using SCORM. The ability to reuse elements - love it!

Cons:

It takes a bit of getting used to when you start- but over a period and with the help of their business support partners - you feel more confident in your skills and efficiency using the platform.

LumaOne has been simple to use and allows the JDR team to control the content of our training material and assessments. With a central library that’s easily shared to different groups within the company, LumaOne will undoubtedly provide the step change JDR need to train our employees in the most cost effective and repeatable way possible.

Pros:

It's very easy to create content from your existing data, such as PowerPoint and then add in additional video features to it either directly through the website or remotely through a phone. There are a lot of options to help edit and make the content as easy as possible for the intended audience. Creating assessments and polls is a great feature that will be widely used by JDR as a means of capturing competencies in all aspects of our business. The onboarding and customer care we received has been fantastic. It's clear that LumaOne really do care about us and have even made improvements where needed based on our experiences to date.

Cons:

There are a lot of options that can be used when creating content, with some changes being made to enhance its user friendliness. These can at times be a little confusing when determining the most suitable option - although the basic elements needed are easy to understand and use.

Most complete out of the box compliance platform

I have used about a dozen Elearning platforms and the standards have always seemed thin. Adobe capticvate is a very powerful tool with access to some amazing student data but overall it is unecesserally complicated and really expensive. LUMA ONE is true interactive video platform compatible on every device with out any complex workarounds.

So easy to use you can do it on a cell phone. Translate any course instantly, with a high degree of accuracy. Interactive video tools. Html mark up capabilities. Great metrics.

Cons:

The UI styling in the back end may need a little jazzing up.
