About BEAS

BEAS by Boyum Solutions is a manufacturing solution that caters to businesses in discrete and process manufacturing industries. Features include support for legal standards and GMP guidelines, FIFO and FEFO processes, cost calculation per article or production order, traceability along the supply chain and more.

BEAS provides users with various strategies and functions for materials management such as order and stock related production, mixed and variant production, execution of manufacturing orders and more. The solution's calculation and product costing module offers users data and parameters for bottom-up calculations such as precalculation of BOMs, routings, recipes and projects.

Additionally, BEAS features version control, quality control and provides users functionalities for production order management, supply chain management and external manufacturing. The solution can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

Support is offered via phone, email and an online help center.

One system fits it all

Great software with a lot af standard features and together with B1UP you can customize beas without coding.

Pros:

That it have it all - no need for addiotnal software. Great functionality - SAP Business One and Beas togehter is a great solution for small and medium companies.

Cons:

It requires a lot of training to become a super user and it is a "click-system" with many mouse clicks

Módulo de producción para SAP Business One

Es un gran módulo de producción que complementa que se instala sobre SAP como si fuera un addon y permite suplir todas las carencias de este último en el ambito productivo.Ciertos addons deben adquirirse por separado como el APS, GMAO extendidido, GPAO, etc.

Su implementación con SAP Business One es completa, no notarás que ventana es SAP y cual es Beas.Complementa perfectamente la parte productiva de SAP, puedes planificar y gestionar un ambiente productivo diverso.Es posible personalizar hasta cierto punto, hay partes que dependen directamente del fabricante y esas no es posible modificarlas.El propio BEAS tiene una versión básica a la que se le pueden añadir nuevos addons, como un APS, un GMAO extentido, etc.

Cons:

En ciertas cosas hereda la rigidez de SAP; aunque con un buen equipo de programadores especializados se pueden hacer ciertas personalizaciones.Trabaja bajo un sistema de licencias a mayores de las de SAP, lo que encarece el binomio SAP/Beas, y los addons de mejores también se deben adquirir por separado.

Pros:

Estamos implantando Beas desde hace 1 año aproximadamente. Hemos mejorado mucho en el control de la producción dado que las operaciones las puedes dividir de forma muy detallada. La órdenes de fabricación las puedes subdividir y te da versatilidad. Es bastante ágil y no se cuelga.

Cons:

Sin un desarrollador con conocimiento alto no puedes implantarlo.
