About MAN-IT

Vital Plant is an on-premise manufacturing execution systems (MES) product suite that helps businesses across various industries to connect and control multiple manufacturing systems and workflows on the factory floor. It provides functionalities such as shop floor traceability, device integration, enterprise resource planning (ERP) interfaces and many more.

Vital Plant's performance dashboard module lets managers view shop floor performance data and related KPIs. The warehouse management module helps users to manage product staging for shipment, as well as printing delivery tickets and shipping slips.

Vital Plant's Lean ToolKit includes waste analytics and maintenance management tools. Managers can also track employees' time and attendance and push the data to integrated payroll and production systems.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and other online resources.

The ROI was quick and visible and the ability to trace to the item level, from raw to finished is exactly what we needed.

Recommended to anyone that is looking for true shop floor MES.

Pros:

Valuable information gathering - we were able to see results and trends even faster that we had hoped. The cost savings from a Labor perspective have been off the chart. The flexibility and ability to configure using our current processes was a huge plus.

Cons:

As normal, the training curve requires time and ownership. Not a huge Con considering the volume and results.
