Using ReqSuite for one year

With ReqSuite, traceability was added to the product. From the top-level feature, down to the lowest level requirement and unit-test.

Pros:

The main feature from ReqSuite that we use is traceability. This was easily setup with the help of Osseno. Thanks to the "import from Excel", it was easy to fill an initial database.

Cons:

What I like least about this software is the documentation generation. I had some struggle before having an acceptable word-template. Also, it would be handy to be able to select from multiple word-templates (currently only 2) Extra filter possibilities, e.g.: filter on status (proposed, accepted, etc.) to create documents only showing the "open" items

Die Bedienung gestaltet sich unkompliziert, und die Struktur kann problemlos an die eigenen Anforderungen angepasst werden. Die Einführung verlief reibungslos und effizient, wodurch wir die Beziehungen zwischen unseren Produkten und Bedürfnissen besser organisieren konnten.

Cons:

Die Exportfunktionen zu Excel und Word sind nicht optimal. Dadurch wird die Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen, die nicht mit ReqSuite arbeiten, erschwert.

Die reqSuite ist im großen und Ganzen ein sehr gelungenes Werkzeug. Benötigt man doch mal Hilfe, ist der Support auf kurzem Weg erreichbar und schafft Abhilfe!

The high customizability of the configuration template was valuable for our organization as we needed the structure inside ReqSuite to reflect the way we work. We are pleased with the Jira interface integration that allows us to push information into the development side of our business. The interface in ReqSuite is user-friendly and straightforward.

Cons:

We are missing interproject linking of requirements, more customizability for database views and advanced permission management for users.

Awesome UX, awesome flexibility, awesome support

We manage our requirements during the product lifecycle with ReqSuite® RM, starting from the very beginning. Thanks to the tool, we are able to determine much faster which implications changes in the requiremtens have and to estimate more precisely, which necessary effort is coming with it.

We chose ReqSuite® RM due to the great UX which offers a high flexibility. In addition, the very good personal support before, during and after on-boarding made the configuring the tool according to your own needs pleasant and easy.

Cons:

Actually, nothing. The usage is straight forward, it covers everything you need, to addressed problems or feature requests, the ReqSuite® RM team responds quickly and implements it.

The Best Newcomer on the market!

Once you got a short training, the software is very easy to use! The implemented process guide works very well and almost everyone of our team loves to work with ReqSuite!

Cons:

Hard to say, but maybe that there`s no FMEA tool implemented.

Powerful but easy to start

ReqSuite helped us to set up a professional requirements engineering from the scratch. Right from the start we were able to configure and use the system on our own. Support was quick to identify and solve any problems. Web-based infrastructure and user-interface let to a very small total cost of ownership for us, so that we can focus on your content and projects. The system is updated on a regular basis. Since the start of our project, ReqSuite has been enhanced and a lot of useful features have been implemented.

Pros:

I like the ease of use, meaning its capabilites to handle thousands of entries easily. Without it we would have lost the overview and wouldn't have finished the project in time, budget and scope. Also you can always "print" nicely formatted word doc. for those who need it (layers;) Then the possibility to connect with Jira is a vital feature.

Cons:

I didn't miss anything. I would use it again tomorow.
