Vancery: Next generation research platform that offers greater control and transparency than others

Pros:

Integrated tool for both calls and surveys. Transcripts are available via download right on the site. Can drive the input myself insuring higher quality output. Am very satisfied with the product and service from the Vancery support team when I can't source on my own.

Cons:

Would be great if I could run 100% of my needs directly but some projects require the support team to help.

Ties back to all my comments-Vancery is an integrated product. Their support team seems to have more time to help for project completion than do their competitors do for a mid size client like me.

Vancery allows us to survey and interview our customers to hone our value prop BEFORE we launch!

The experience is seamless for collecting key datapoints from users. We have found a ton of value in utilizing Vancery to talk to our customers and conduct quantitative surveys.

Pros:

Vancery allows us to find current users of our software as well as users of competing software platforms to connect with through in depth surveys and interviews. We are able to conduct user interviews to test the messaging of our marketing materials and feature offerings of our product with actual customers. Additionally, the intel we are able to gather from talking to users of competitive software allows us to build better products that resonate with our target customer-base.

Cons:

There are some more advanced survey features that other platforms support that Vancery doesn’t currently support, but we’ve been able to adjust our surveys to the capabilities of Vancery’s platform and their survey team will help with the drafting and design process to ensure that the format fits your business goals and their technology.

Reasons for choosing Vancery

The transparency into the panel participants’ industry and work history was unique to Vancery, and really helps to drive the structure of the interviews. We also needed tools for customer segmentation, which Vancery offers.

Reasons for switching to Vancery

The research experience was fairly siloed. We weren’t able to complete the quantitative and qualitative research processes in a single platform. Vancery’s UX and panel were really compelling for our team.

Great product, prefer them over the larger search firms

Overall very happy with Vancery - they make funding experts easy, and the scheduling is more seamless than having to exchange emails like other search firms that we've used. I've continued to use them more and more for our research needs.

Vancery is a great product that rivals many of the more established research tools, and combines the calls and survey functions into one easy to use interface.

Pros:

Vancery fits all of our research needs in one platform including the ability to conduct calls and surveys, but with Vancery these capabilities are provided through the same portal. This can really speed up our research process and allows us to access the best respondents from the surveys we run for follow up calls.

Cons:

Occasionally an interviewee won't show up for a call, but the Vancery client services team does a good job of rescheduling and tracking people down. There are no major issues from our use of the product.

It's not easy to do follow up calls with Qualtrics, and we liked Vancery's interface a little better.

Reasons for switching to Vancery

Switching between vendors for call and surveys didn't make sense and we saw a lot of value in the ability to centralize our research workflow on Vancery.

Pros:

In Andador Shop, we realized early on of the importance of choosing our path based on the most reliable data. The seamless access to information that Vancery provides has been key in building the know-how we need to make strategic decisions. As an entrepreneur, this user-friendly one-stop-shop for direct research is highly valuable and has led us to a great start. We are also impressed with the high-quality tools Vancery provides, such as the video experience which is much cleaner than other platforms, such as Zoom. We found the ability to download transcripts from interviews particularly useful as well which facilitated our ability to identify relevant insights.

Cons:

We had a situation in which a user we had scheduled a call with didn’t show up; however, Vancery team not only reacted quickly to the situation but they were also very diligent in scheduling and tracking the user. The support we got in solving these issues was excellent. Seamless market research platform providing clean and useful tools which result in valuable insights and data for any industry and product.
