Patch Management Made Simple

Patch My PC delivers on its promise of simplifying third-party patch management in a corporate environment, offering an intuitive, streamlined approach that saves time. We use it as the primary tool to drive down patch vulnerabilities to an acceptable number. This has saved many hours each month manually reviewing and manually forcing patches.

Pros:

Ease of use, once set up, it's automated 24/7. Great responsive support. It supports a comprehensive range of software and it continues to add more. This platform is cost-effective and reduces the ever-growing security vulnerabilities found on a daily basis. This is used with InTune. Now we can get on with the other stuff!

Cons:

There is nothing that sticks out as we are mainly a Windows environment, and this fills that gap well.

Clear recommendation for Patch My PC

Basically, I am very satisfied and the deployment of the apps from the catalog as well as my own apps works perfectly.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to say. Custom apps wasn’t supported until a few months ago.

Pros:

Ease of setup and ability to patch only existing installations with update mode. Also the ability to show users a popup message when updating running apps is a very good addition.

Cons:

Old school publisher tool isn't very modern, but it gets the job done. Pricing wise PMPC is probably one of the most expensive solution for 3rd party app patching solutions, but the features justify it.

Software Centrals Robopack. Because of the update only existing installs -option.

In the first place because of Automox didn't cover our needs regarding 3rd party patching, later or the price for Patch My PC appeared to be much more competitive.

Huge Time saver

Very easy to use, with the newly introduced SaaS solution it can even be used without any onprem Servers. PatchMyPC makes it posible that we, approve more requested software, because we don't have any extra work with packaging and providing it.

The software saves very match Time, we can use for other topics then packaging software and updates.

Cons:

Sadly some more complicated Packages like Autocad are not available.

PatchMyPC was cheaper and hat more software packages in there catalog, while also being an enterpreise solution.

Great software!

Fantastic. It was so quick and easy to setup managing our software deployments and updates. After the initial setup which took no more than 30min, we rarely have to check the software unless we're updating software that PMPC can't do automatically (e.g. Teamviewer)

Cons:

UI whilst clean, is very outdated, but the simplicity is still nice. It isn't always obvious what each bit within the software does.

Patch My PC was much cheaper, had an incredible amount of positive reviews, and was incredibly easy to setup.

Patch My PC helped us deploy & update 3rd party applications better and meanwhile also saving time.

Easy to setup, easy to maintain, custom apps can be deployed to fit our needs and really making us as an IT Department more efficient.

Pros:

It is very easy to make applications available through Intune/Company Portal and keep them up to date. The biggest benefit is that it costs us less time to manage. Besides, removing the "boring" work it also improved our application deployment.

Cons:

The application will only push. So, whenever you change a setting or adjust the scope via the Patch My PC Publisher it will not update in Intune. These adjustments we have to do manually. It would be nice if this process is changed the feature.

Reasons for switching to Patch My PC

Automox is 10 times the price and did not fit our needs completely. We now combined 2 tools (one of which is Patch My PC) that in total costed us 1/4th of Automox's price

PMPC a superior product in every way.

First class. This is the second company that I've setup with PMPC and the product just keeps getting better.

I've tested a few 3rd party patching products now and PMPC is far superior, easier to setup and manage and much more cost effective for any organization.

Cons:

Intune reporting is lacking compared to ConfigMgr reporting but we're expecting that to be improved.

More cost-effective, had previous experience with PMPC and its ease of use. it was a no brainer

Patch my PC indeed lives up to the hype!

We only use PMPC cloud. We did test with the publisher initially, but decided to go for the cloud even if that was still in preview. But our simple cloud-only setup worked super well with the cloud.

It lives up to its reputation (it's very highly tought of on Reddit) in both product, tech and PMPC team have been nothing but great.

Cons:

Lack of Mac support. But they are working on it, but this is our biggest problem so far.

Reasons for switching to Patch My PC

Using Intune for patching is just too much work for the admin. PMPC just solved everything we needed (except for MacOS support)
