About Agility

Agility by SSG Insight is an integrated cloud-based computerized maintenance management (CMMS) and facilities management (CAFM) solution that helps maintenance and facility managers to manage their organizations' maintenance operations. The solution offers various applications such as asset management, reactive and preventive maintenance management, work order management, help desk, inventory management and more. It can be tailored to suit businesses across various industry verticals that include manufacturing, health care, wholesale distribution and retail.

Users can manage spare inventory levels, purchase orders and suppliers. The pre-set stock levels help users to raise and authorize the purchase orders and control budgets. Agility allows users to allocate resources and personnel to an operation based on workload, availability, skills and training requirements.

Agility also offers mobile applications for Android and Windows mobile devices that allow users to access the solution remotely. Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and other online resources.

Vast improvements

Excellent so far and looking to see where it can go to next. Real improvement on our past cmms and from the Agility of 6 years ago that I installed elsehwere.

Pros:

Flexible to our business, the software has been adapted and configured to the needs of the team but also myslef as the manager for monitoring and reporting. Mobile integration and usability.

Cons:

Licensing cost, as we could use it further across the business for technical operators, quality, auditors and managers but for the cost of licenses when they only a fraction of the software for minimal time

Best CMMS out there!

The experience has been exciting from day one. Working closely with the account manager to optimise before implementation to making minor process changes once implemented. The team are knowledgeable and listen to our recommendations.

Pros:

Agility has been very supportive all the way from implementation and support throughout the entire process. Their system is very flexible and is able to cater to most of not all of our needs. Theyre constantly improving and listening to their customers. Their mobile app has improved greatly even within the year we have been with them. Look forward to the continous improvements and AI integration coming soon!

Cons:

Id say the only downside is the user interface looks a little dated on the core. Would be great to match the user interface of the mobile in the core system. No issues with the system just an observation on how it looks is all.

Multiple evaluations and descision matrices proved Agility was the correct system to use. We carried out extensive research before switching.

System was obsolete and was moving us to their new system which we did not like and was too expensive fornwhat we qere getting.

Agility jumping ahead of others

Good support along with taking feedback from customers to help improve/change Agility. It’s always good to know that feedback is used to help shape the product.

Pros:

Agility is relatively easy to use with common screens, once you learn 1 you learn the others. Ability to use Operational Live Dashboards along with the data warehouse helps us provide information to managers.

Cons:

Some reports are showing their age and have not been updated for a while. I have so many managers question me regarding any new reports.

Great software, keeps improving!

I find Agility extremely helpful in carrying out my day to day job. It has become the backbone of our engineering function and greatly aids compliance with our mandatory inspections.

Pros:

The system is very robust. As a company we find the helpdesk function a massive boon.It has so many features that we have yet to implement and it keeps expanding. Customer service has improved greatly in the 12 years that I have been using the system.

Cons:

Sometimes there are buttons that are put into the customer released version which are actually still in development so they actually do nothing in the customer environment

Pros:

The ability to capture engineering downtime as point of use within he mobile app has been a big step in improving of the accuracy of out data.

Cons:

The report functionality within the system isnt very user firendly and quite difficult to extract the information you need without Agility support.

Mobile application. It streamlines the process for engineers and the feedback has been positive over using the website.

Cons:

Website design. Navigating multiple pages for tasks. The UI design looks slightly dated. Looking forward to seeing the AI reports instead of exporting CSV files to manipulate data.

A quick and easy reference to what is going on in our world of Asset care

Pros:

The Ability to personalize Agility to suit the needs of our business has been by far the greatest benefit to us in terms of offering straight forward functionality to our engineers and to allow us immediate access to what is what is happening at any time with our assets in terms of jobs carried out and time spent. Enables us to capture any condition monitoring trends and helps with continuous improvement opportunities.

Cons:

Some of the management reports are not clear where they get the information from, have to spend some time digging into this.

Determined Softsols help achieve a challenging go-live date

Agility is a comprehensive system and Softsols have had huge success with it. Our ambition is to work with Softsols to improve the product with regards to asset management standards and to enable better access to our data for analytics. The team at Softsols are friendly, approachable and really understand our business. We look forward to a long relationship where we set the standard for asset management and operations.

Pros:

Softsols' provided their most experienced technicians worked along side our team to ensure we hit our go live date. We provided our own data scientists as we need to combine data from a number of different system then transform the data into a format suitable for Agility; Softsols provided us with unrepresented access to the database which resulted in a complete system on day one. Softsols accommodated a number of late changes on the financial side of the system which was a huge plus.

Cons:

This is difficult as we are happy with the outcome of the project however, we could have achieved more had the team been more ambitious and worked with us to introduce some of the software changes we wanted. Now that the system is live it needs to go through our change control process which does slow things down. It's about taking those opportunity while you can.
