About Google Cloud Identity

Google Cloud Identity is an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Identity (IDaaS) platform that gives users easy access to apps with single sign-on. It enables access policies and self-service app deployment - on the cloud or across on-premise IT infrastructure. This platform also includes features such as multi-factor authentication and endpoint management for personal and corporate devices.

Google Cloud Identity Free with Google Workspace Enterprise Plan

We use Google Cloud Identity for share our documents with our partners with authenticated access & also use for Google SSO based login to our Apps.

Pros:

We can use Cloud Identity for authenticate users with our domain mail ID & also we do not need to spare full licnese for the user. We can use for authentication purpose & share our content with authentication. Also you can use Cloud Identity with Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW) for authenticating your enterprise Windows laptops.

Cons:

With Google Cloud Identity you can you get 15 GB drive space & use couple feature from your Google Workspace but you can not use Google Chat feature. If Google allow Google Chat with Cloud Identity users then it will be a great.

Google Authenticator va bene per l'accesso su gmail. Google Cloud Identity mi offre la sicurezza necessaria riguardo l'accesso al cloud

Pros:

We use the google cloud identity platform to authenticate users so that they can access all the cloud applications seamlessly like the databases cloud sql and cloud spanner. The best part is that it seamlessly integrates with all the applications and there is very little setup required to get it up and running. It reduces the infra cost of keeping an identity platform.

Cons:

Some of the features are a little complicated and thus take sometime to understand for new team members.
