One of the best places for unlimited stock videos, photos, templates, and fonts

Pros:

Compared to other stock footage websites, Envato has a slight edge because they offer not only video, photo, and graphic templates, but also fonts, wordpress templates, and 3d images. The catalog is extremely organized and varied. Everytime I go searching a specific video or template idea, I always find something that fits great into my project.

Cons:

The only con is the price. It's about $16 monthly. However, they do offer student discounts which other stock footage websites do not.

Pros:

I first found Envato Elements while looking for a stock photography solution. After signing up for their free trial and liking what we found to use, I started poking around more and quickly signed up for a full membership. There are literally forms, templates, media, and ideas for almost every aspect of our design business. We completely redid our newsletter based off of designs found on Envato and have a list of further projects in the pipeline that we're looking to start. I only wish we had started using Envato earlier to save myself the time and headache from using other so-called "competitors".

Cons:

Occaisonally you'll find work submitted that is not as robust or complete as the description first led you to believe. I don't think this fault lies with Envato, but rather with the individual submitter, but the high-quality materials definitely outweigh the lesser-quality ones.

Envato is the go to platform for when you need professional assets.

Envato is a great solution for a solopreneur who cannot afford subscriptions to the individual product offerings such as templates and videos offered through other sites. While it could be expected that having a single offering that encompasses everything would mean that the quality is poor I very rarely have an issue finding relevant content in Envato.

If you are only able to purchase one subscription for assets make sure that it's Envato Elements. They have a huge range of assets across multiple categories such as videos and photos, and they are generally of very high quality. Additionally, they regularly add new assets and have a pulse releasing assets which cover the "hot topics" of the moment.

Cons:

Due to the amount of content offered, sometimes using the search feature displays irrelevant assets, and it can take some time to narrow down to the appropriate assets.

Rich Design Assets Library.

As an Instructional Designer, I rarely (if ever) design a webpage or a video intro from scratch. I rely on Services like Envato Elements' creative library to find templates or themes that I can easily edit and use. Envato Elements platform makes it easy to search, filter, bookmark, and finally export the content I want with a license that lasts even if I didn't renew my subscription.

Envato Elements platform is rich in creative designs, graphics, images, templates, and almost every content type I might need to create professionally-designed content. The content on Envato Elements is always up-to-date with current design trends. Also, the subscription plans are affordable.

Cons:

The technical support is not as responsive as I expected it would be. I've had an issue with a broken plugin that took me three days to resolve with their support team's help. But at least it's solved.

The process of choosing assets is very easy, and if you search a bit it's very easy to find everything you need : video footage, music, image, icons... anything, it's the perfect companion for a startup. The license system is very easy to understand.

Cons:

A small point, everytime you do something new, you are obliged to declare it for the license... it could be a bit long
