Pros:

It is difficult to categorize what our organization enjoys most about PowerUp. If pressed, it would be the completeness of the solution. Member and tournament registration; ease of use; reporting; scheduling of officials; mass emailing; seamless payment integration. Also, the stability and availability of the hosted solutions have been outstanding.

Cons:

There is nothing we least enjoy about the entire solution.

Reasons for choosing PowerUp Sports

We chose PowerUp Sports based on features, ease of use and member experience as well as the ability to replace our current game official scheduling system. It was clearly the best of breed.

PowerUp - Perfect for our Club!

Our experience has been fantastic from the start. Training was setup easily and accommodated our unique requirements. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help and offer solutions. Moving to Powerup was the best decision our organization could have made.

Everything! This software covers all of our needs from registration, communication, scheduling to financial reporting. It is easy to learn and use, the family calendar is a huge bonus. We have saved a lot of time with how much easier this program is to use and do tasks over what we've used in the past.

Cons:

Nothing to put here. Everything we have asked for or suggested has been done. Response times are really quick.

Reasons for switching to PowerUp Sports

Their customer service is abysmal. Since they have been bought by Stack Sports the product has been stagnant, staff is hard to reach and they have lost the customer first focus they used to have.

Power Up Scheduling Review

My experience with PowerUp Sports has been 100% positive. Customer support is accessible & knowledgeable on different scenarios & how to accomplish with the software. The software is intuitive & easy to use. Emailing teams/players/parents is simple & professional.

Pros:

The scheduling software is easy to use & executes a number of different variables when needed (e.g. round robin playoffs, knockout playoffs, etc). Changes to schedules (field location, time, etc.) are easy to complete. Customer support is available & knowledgeable when it comes to the software.

Cons:

Not much! Most issues are dealt with quickly & easily. Staff are open to suggestions on how to improve the software as needed.

I love power up. The company is great and the people working for it are also amazing. Best program for the soccer club :-)

I love the fact that I can call and get help within minutes. I like the fact that all the things I need for my season are on 1 program. It is easy to use and I like a lot of the other features, financial, reports etc.

Cons:

The app can be a little better and they could make it a little more accessible for the Admins to be able to change some things in the back without having to call them.

Reasons for choosing PowerUp Sports

Sport Engine sucks. The help is not there and anytime you call for help it takes up to 24hrs and nothing is ever their fault. Fixing bugs takes for ever.

Excellent Product! Excellent Support!

This product enables our Club to streamlne regisration, team set up, schedules, referees and financial management. The ease of use has allowed all of our convenors to become very comfortable using this system. As Administrator, I am able to keep of top of everything at any point in my day and can watch trends in regisraton etc. I would never consider switching companies. PowerUP makes you feel like family!

We have used PowerUp for 11 years! Through these years, we have grown with the product. The technical support is second to none. The refresher courses offered are very beneficial. We use this program for everything from regisration to scheduling and referees.

Cons:

We did find the transition from paper registration to online involved a huge learning curve, but PowerUp stood by us all the way aiding us in any way that they could.

Reasons for choosing PowerUp Sports

PowerUp was chosen for a few reasons. One being the very reasonable price, but the main selling point was the Product support.

Keep up the great work!

Gosh- there are so many list! - The ease for users- to create a profile/register on their desktop or phone - The quick reports to check on registration numbers - The ability for users to check on their Power UP account- funds, due dates and schedule

Cons:

At this time, I do not have any to mention as this on line management system is so great!

PowerUp Sports

We adopted PowerUp Sports registration system initially to reduce our cost related to paper based registration, which required a cash and cheque payment process and a home grown database to manage our membership. The cost of implementing the PowerUp System was equal to the mailing costs related to our registration process. The handling of thousands of registration forms and the work associated with the tracking and recording of information and financial data was eliminated.

Pros:

The PowerUp Sports product meets all our needs for registering our members and their children for our soccer programs. It is easy to use by our members to register for our programs and provides all options for payment of fees. The system enables staff to organize teams, schedule events, communicate schedules, track and record player progress. The creation of products (program SKUs) is simple and easy to do. The system provides standard reports on product sales by product, SKU, and by season.

Cons:

Over the nine (9) years and 18 seasons that we have used PowerUp Sports we have seen many enhancements that were suggested by us. They started with the best product available and have improved it every year.

Reasons for choosing PowerUp Sports

We looked at existing sport clubs that were using PowerUp Sports and contacted them to assess their satisfaction with the performance of the system and the quality of the support provided by PowerUp. The feedback was all positive (user friendly, reliable, easy to administer, it worked). As well the support for its implementation (credit card processing, etc.) was excellent.

Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club

Our overall experience with Power Up has been amazing. The tutorials are always at hand and customer service is just a phone call away. You don't have to open a ticket and then wait for someone to get back to you. Registration is made easy through the system and tracking registration as staff is even easier. both via computer or phone.

Power up is extremely easy to use and is very user friendly, making it easy to explain to new members how to use the system. I like the fact that all reports that are needed are just a click away and the customer service is fantastic.

Cons:

We have no concerns with Power Up. After using many online registration systems Power Up is the best out there.

Where to Begin...

Again, our overall experience has been awesome. From the beginning of the year season preparation virtual sessions they run, to the seamless integration with our PSO registration system, this system has been fantastic.

PowerUp and its team have been nothing short of incredible. I have used this software at multiple clubs and have always found the team and the product to be incredibly adaptable, open-minded and quick in response. The ease of use, not only from a club integration perspective, but from a consumer set-up is fabulous. I truly could not say enough about this product and have been fortunate to work with them. I have a regular go-to person on their team and she is remarkable. Always helpful, provides a holistic solution and is readily available. Thanks, B!

Cons:

Nothing to say at this point. I know I had mentioned the ability on the discount side to allow for bundling to be more seamless (especially when not purchased at the same time) and for a $value amount (ie. $20 down) rather than a percentage (to avoid the pesky change). But, these are truly minimal concerns.
