Best decision my practice made was choosing DermCharts

Since using DermCharts we have increased the number of patients our providers see on a daily basis. We have maximized MIPS reimbursements for all Providers. Customer service is reliable and the team is very responsive to emails and phone calls.

Pros:

Ability to customize templates. Camera feature (take a picture and the image is in the chart instantly). Built-in shortcuts and macros. MIPS questions are built into the templates which helps guarantee a passing score.

Cons:

There is really not much to not like about the software but if I had to choose one thing it would probably be patient portal enrollment. With that said I think the reason is that most of the responsibility lies upon the patient and not all patients follow through with enrollment.

Click less, care more

Able to see same volume as if we were on paper. Allows for superior charting.

Very user friendly! Great charting, charge capture

Cons:

Lab interfaces may take a while. Thinking about this, DermCharts would not have control of the time for labs to respond

Pros:

very user friendly and easy to navigate

Cons:

there's a lot of EMR disruptions also its very difficult to remove codes in charts that area entered in error
