Pros:

Soundboard is so easy to use, saves so much time and effort and is so helpful with organization and time. I couldn't have asked for a better product. I used a different product before that I was not happy with and I have already gotten rid of it. There was no comparison (and Soundboard was half the price)

Cons:

I can truly say, I cant think of anything that is missing. I have nothing to say.

This is the only product I would use as a Solo-Practitoner

Soundboard is a MUST for solo-preneurs

It has been great! I started my business 18 mos ago and wish it existed then. So much thought has been put into the user-experience. Support is readily available and they are responsible to changes that can easily be made at this stage of its development.

Soundboard is intuitive and simple--yet comprehensive. It has plenty of options to track my customer interactions and billing, as well as other features I am not yet using but plan to. I appreciate that I can easily tailor my user experience to meet my needs as I continue to develop my business and utilize additional features.

Cons:

Nothing significant. I small con is language is primarily tailors to hs college counselors so I have to adapt slightly given that I am a college success coach- only a minor inconvenience given all the pros!

Reasons for switching to Soundboard

Maintaining excel worksheets is time consuming and prime for errors. Being able to track my clients within this one platform from semester to semester is fantastic. As for invoicing/billing, I switch from QB- much simpler and cost-effective. I also not have a place for my client notes, which were previously only handwritten.

Beyond Belief Relief from Soundboard

Working with Soundboard has helped me breathe easier as a small business owner. Previously I've worked with other accounting teams, however as a small business I've often been treated as the client that would be dealt with once the larger clients had been dealt with. Rather than having proactive support from other bookkeepers, it was on me to manage reconciling my books, monitoring monthly expenses, and finding answers as to what was best for my business now and in the future. With the help of Soundboard, I've been able to free my mind up and focus on my business, both in growing it and working on projects. They have always remained on top of helping guide my business in the best ways to keep more money in my pocket in the long term and plan for the future. It's great to know I have a dedicated team in my corner that aims to help others like me.

Soundboard's team is always responsive and informative whether it's handling requests or providing solid accounting advice. I continue to trust their judgement and know that they're here adding tremendous value to my day to day activities lightening my load.

Cons:

The only downside that I've faced is their Dashboard for reviewing content or responding is not mobile optimized. It would be great to have a better interface that scales across devices.

Layer that with the COST EFFECTIVENESS. Think about how much time you spend generating "paperwork/billing" - then realize that using Soundboard more than pays for itself.

So glad I discovered Soundboard for my education/career consulting business! Great customer service team, easy to use platform AND it solved several of my administrative needs. I can easily generate notes and reminders to students/clients, billing/payment information that is transparent, and the information is all in one place. TERRIFIC value! Suffice it to say...I like it ALL!

Cons:

Though this may be in the works, HIPPA compliance may offer another layer of online information protection. For 95% of what I do, it's not necessary.

Soundboard is easy to use. It tracks what's most important to me and keeps all my client notes in one secure place. I can easily see what stage of the process each student is at and can send reminders of overdue assignments. Also, Soundboard's AI Assistant helps me with detailed research.

Cons:

As a new product, Soundboard is always evolving. There are a few features I'd love to see (sending contracts to docusign) that aren't offered yet.

Best program on the market for IEC's

Tracking my time and monthly billing saves me hours each month. I really like having a complete profile of each client with the ability to add private notes and Google docs attached and easily accessible. I'm able to customize as needed for my grad students and clients I provide therapy for.
