No brainer for Alberta-based Daycares

I am a director of a daycare company based in Alberta, Canada that switched to Child Friendly about a year ago. Previously we were using the leading platform in the industry. We have found Child Friendly to be a game-changer in making our reporting paperless, our payments error-free and subsidy collection seamless. They have built it with specific customization for Alberta which really sets it apart from the rest. No brainer if you are AB based.

Pros:
It's a complete, end to end platform - I don't have to piece together a number of different solutions.
Cons:
We experienced some stability issues when first using it. However, those seem to have been resolved.

Reasons for switching to ChildFriendly

Daycareworks (Procore) is old technology and not responsive to the changing industry requirements such as subsidy changes

We absolutely love this childcare software! For our management team, it keeps us completely in the loop—everything we need to know about children, staff, and attendance is right at our fingertips. It’s incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to train new staff and get everyone up to speed quickly. The built-in reports are amazing for analyzing data, and the system handles registrations, parent payments, and even payroll hour calculations with ease. It simplifies the financial side of running a daycare, especially when it comes to government reporting. It basically does EVERYTHING that you need a software to do for childcare, so we no longer have to create our own systems and spreadsheets, or use multiple software/apps.
Cons:
Honestly, anything that I had issues with has been rectified, as they are always working to make this software better, more user-friendly and are adding new features.
