About SKU Compass

SKU Compass integrates Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and WooCommerce data together in a unified platform and enables users to make data-driven decisions. Using real sales velocity, lead time and safety stock calculations, SKU Compass automatically forecasts demand and creates reorder recommendations.

Users can see their inventory across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and WooCommerce in one dashboard. It uses the business's real sales history, stock data and lead times to predict when and what to reorder. The Smart Restock Estimator automatically calculates next order dates using lead time, safety stock and daily velocity. It also helps track Amazon FBA fees, view historical trends and forecast using AWD warehouse stock.

The tool helps monitor shipments, star ratings and payouts directly from the SKU Compass dashboard. Users can link SKUs across platforms to forecast bundles, kits and related products together. It also provides vendor and PO tracking enabling users to plan purchase orders based on forecasted need, supplier lead times and safety buffers. Simplifying Amazon Inventory Management — and Excellent Support to Match

SKU Compass has been a very positive experience! Any time we are requesting an adjustment to help us use the program better, or are looking to add complexity, Randy is quick to reply and move into action.

Pros:

SKU Compass is very helpful in viewing Amazon turn rates and inventory levels. We are able to incorporate our 3PL stock, AWD and AMZ stock all in one view, which even Amazon makes us toggle between AWD and AMZ stock.

Cons:

We have a number of listings that aren't active anymore that kind of bog down our view. I believe there is a manual way to remove them from view, but it would be nice to have a view of only listings that have a sale within xx amount of days.

Reasons for switching to SKU Compass

SKUVault was pricey for what it offered.

Solving stress over Inventory and PO's

Incredible, definitely a game changer for our business. We lost a lot of money before using an inventory platform like this to manage things. Running out of stock or inaccurately forecasting sales velocity and PO's can be a huge headache and lead to losing or misspending a lot of your cash flow.

Pros:

We love using SKU Compass to make our future PO planning easier and more insightful. SKU Compass allows us to know exactly where we stand with our inventory and our future PO's and for us that is invaluable!

Cons:

SKU Compass has been very easy to learn to use and integrate into our weekly inventory oversight and planning. There haven't really been any big negatives or drawbacks to using the platform. We also value that the team is always working to improve procedures and increase efficiency and accuracy etc.

Integrity + Strategy

SKU Compass (in particular [sensitive content hidden] ) have been helping me run my Amazon and Google advertising for my business. They also help keep an eye on my inventory and alert me when I need to be mindful about sending in more stock so I never run out. [sensitive content hidden] is so conscientious about keeping me informed about what they are doing to improve my sales through ads. He makes an effort to really understand my goals and my business and then guides me through the steps needed to help me reach those goals. He is patient and knowledgeable. I trust him completely! Working with SKU Compass is like having an extra team member helping me run my business. I highly recommend them!

User Friendly Platform with Excellent Support

We recently transitioned from a larger software provider to SKU Compass, and the experience has been excellent. Their team has been responsive and proactive, meeting with me as needed to ensure the reporting tools are customized and easy to use. They provide clear guidance on downloading reports and offer helpful instructional videos directly in the dashboard, making the platform very user-friendly. A key advantage has been their ability to build a custom report that calculates our weighted average inventory cost at month-end — a capability our previous software did not offer.

Pros:

[sensitive content hidden] has been exceptionally patient, friendly, and supportive throughout the process. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless transition.

Cons:

I experienced a bit of a learning curve when transitioning from our previous software to this platform. While some of that may simply come from adjusting to a new system, I also find that a few screens feel somewhat busy, which took additional time to get used to. Overall, once familiar with the interface, the workflow became much smoother.

Reasons for switching to SKU Compass

SkuVault had several functions that we were not utilizing but had to pay for.

SKU Compass is best in class

Allows me to manage multiple brands at one time and when focusing on one brand the ability to expand channel reporting and bake in velocity trends has been invaluable, as a COO I can't recommend SKU Compass highly enough.

Collaborative practice, providing updated solutions for ever changing eCom space. The ability to provide ongoing support and white glove service sets SKU Compass apart from any other inventory management software

Cons:

nothing comes to mind but the eventuality of using this platform to check wholesale/retail velocity would be a great next step.

Pros:

I had been tracking inventory in a spreadsheet. Once we rolled out multiple sales channels and multiple inventory locations, it became a bear to manage. SKU Compass got me out of the spreadsheets and automated the process. Now, I can track inventory for DTC, Amazon, Walmart, etc, all within one platform, without manually updating spreadsheets.

Cons:

Really no complaints. This is nitpicky, because it looks better than a spreadsheet, but the UI could be a little better.
