15/10 would recommend Tally to anyone. Well worth the price!

Where to even begin!? We began using Tally in late summer of this year after seeing other publishers utilize it for their news quiz. We were looking for a similar, cost-effective solution, and decided to give Tally a shot. I can hardly express how much we've loved using Tally for so many different use cases! Our publication has utilized Tally for everything from reader surveys and market research to interactive "news quizzes", general feedback forms, and, more recently, to encourage our readers to share their stories and submit photos and videos for use in our stories. Our team continually uses Tally to innovate new ways to interact with our readership and manage projects or internal forms. I would highly encourage any individual, organization, business, etc. to give Tally a try and see for yourself how easy it is to use, and how much simpler it makes day to day work and operations better!

- Ease of use, incredible amount of connectivity to other apps/softwares and general integrations into the systems we use daily. - Incredible customer support with super responsive and quality answers to general tech questions. - Cost effectiveness of the subscription price (especially for a nonprofit). - Variety of use and quickness of launching new forms.

Cons:

My only wish for future changes or updates would be an easier way to manage the workspace(s) and assign multiple "admin" permissions to the account.

Switched from Google Forms to Tally because the forms actually looked good

My favourite thing about Tally is the UI (both for me as the form creator and for the person filling the form). Before Tally, I'd only used Google Forms and Typeform. Typeform's pricing wasn't a fit for me and I didn't like their one question per screen UI. And Google Forms always looked old-school and boring. So when I found Tally, the immediate attractor was how clean the UI looked. A form that actually looked good for once Since then, I've used Tally for various use cases. Used it to build a graded quiz (as a fun game for my newsletter). Used it to build a BuzzFeed-style quiz as a lead gen tactic for the SaaS company I worked for. Used it to collect registrations for a fun event with my friends. Used it to do a fun Valentine's Day quiz for my partner. Used it to collect feedback and testimonials from clients when I did consulting In all, I'm a big fan of Tally. I think it's a really great tool and the free tier is very generous

Very easy to use! And they had a lot of templates I could lean on. Was wondering if I could create logic-based quizzes for lead generation and I found one once I checked templates. That quiz has been taken over 12k times now btw. I like that I was also able to embed the form into my website without any engineering help

I did have some hesitation when I first signed up because it was so different from Google Forms UI which I was used to Would also be great if I could import an already-created Google Form into Tally. When I first signed up, I'd just created a 30-question quiz in Google Form (before I decided to try Tally) and it was frustrating having to create it all over again in Tally. Wish I could have just imported it all in and then edited

Easy to use tool for a variety of employee surveys and analysis.

Easy to use, lots of choices of question formats. Easy to analyse at a glance too, but would prefer export to graph features or to tables as an addition.

Really easy to customise and edit. All the suggestions for question formats that I needed were there. Also good to copy and paste a question format & change the phrasing. Good to interpret from, although export graphs would be useful (maybe you have them and I've not spotted them?)

Cons:

Extra lines being added after I copy and paste just made it a bit more fiddly. Generally good however.

Great tool for beginners and pros

Very easy to use, lots of use cases too. I use Tally mainly for contact forms, but I experimented with quizzes and online document signing. I like how easy it is to connect to automation tools (for me n8n) and I'm hyped that there is now an official integration, even if I didn't encounter any difficulties before using only webhooks. The amount and variety of modules available even for the free plan is very appreciable, and it's nice to have some customization options.

The fact that form creation is ultra easy even for a beginner with no experience. The documentation is pretty thorough and not too hard to understand. I like having examples I can import and play around with, it's the best way to understand how a feature works. The embedding process is simple and answers to every configuration.

Cons:

I wish there were more customization options on the free version ; I have some trouble understanding how I can use hidden fields for customization but I might not have all the tools available to exploit this feature fully. Modifying the layout is not the easiest to get but it's not a huge issue.

LOVE THESE PEOPLE! Great tool for, in my case, data entry!

The form was pretty easy to build / stand up and again, I just love that they're as cool as they are with their Free Tier. I haven't worked in quite some time and really couldn't afford to have to pay at this point.

I sing their praises every chance I get due to my ability to use their free tier for a data entry task that I need while my personal app is down.

Cons:

I still can't believe that they have no default for the Time field, or control, or whatever it's officially called. I mean, would it really be that hard to let us have a "Now()" or something? I mean heck, let me on the team for long enough and I'll write it for you guys! ; ) No, but seriously, I've been doing software development for other 30 years. 🙂

They are very limited on the amount of 'entries' you get on their free tier, and as an unemployed person, this of course matters a lot.

The best Form plateform.

The form (contact, delivery form, subscribe, etc.) proposed by my website plateforme doesn't works correctly, it is depend of the OS and device, and offen I received nothing ! I tried another plateform to manage form, and finaly I found Tally, the best for me. Free, simple, fast.

1- Free of charges for basic options. Simple. 2- Dasbord intuitive, very easy to use. 3- Form creation is very easy, customisation is good. 4- Help and support are very usefull. 5- email receipt of form notification is fastier. Super. 6-integration in my website very simple and it works very well.

Maybe, about customisation. Column mode : en example, I have a question, the answer is Yes or No. I select checkbox, even if the both box are on the same line, the check box are far from each other. Maybe, customise possibilité du choice : display left, right, center for each item.

Cons:

Would like more options to slice the response data and correlate to what I'm trying to find out. Insights helps with making the survey better, but doesn't help with richer data, i.e. like sentiment analysis.

The block-based form builder is extremely intuitive and comes with a wide range of functionalities, making it easy to create forms for multiple use cases. For an ed-tech startup, this has been a huge time-saver. Instead of building an entire landing page, I can quickly launch a well-designed form to validate and test MVPs faster.

Cons:

A few areas for improvement would be adding support for Indian payment gateways. Additionally, in the age of AI, a prompt-based form creation feature would be a great enhancement and could make the form-building process even faster.
