Unreal Customer Service That Inspires Confidence and Unlocks Action

Amazing. I tell everyone about Tally. I use it professionally and personally. It inspires action in a variety of use cases. I wish I could meet the people who are building it.

Pros:

Tally is an incredible tool. It obviously is just simple/better/cleaner/easier than other form tools, but its flexibility invites creativity to a broad swath of use cases. It is incredibly easy to mirror your brand's aesthetic, and the embed everything (Stripe, Calendly) allow you to graduate from simple forms to complex user/purchase flows. We've used it for everything from user research to beta testing new features, to user onboarding. What really sets it apart is the customer support - I've never experienced a product at this price point with this high a touch of customer support that actually digs into the problem you are trying to solve vs. pushing out boilerplate macros. That makes the product incredibly confidence inspiring - you never feel alone building.

Cons:

Not a lot to say here - but sometimes (as with all), the AI tool can be a tad overconfident with regards to some of its abilities.

Easier/Better/More Beautiful/WAY more confidence inspiring for non-technical users.

Much better customization (design/brand), easier use, more robust functionality.

Best survey tool I ever used !

My experience with Tally is very positive and I would recommend this tool to anyone who is used to these types of tools or not. It is very easy to get the hang of it and integrate it in internal processed and automations.

Tally is very ease to use and has a very flexible design that can be applied to all type of businesses. It also integrates easily with various apps and enables friendly automations.

Cons:

I have no cons for Tally for now. It is my go-to survey app when I implement new tools for my clients.

I prefer tally's design than google form's design.

Pros:

The block-based form builder is extremely intuitive and comes with a wide range of functionalities, making it easy to create forms for multiple use cases. For an ed-tech startup, this has been a huge time-saver. Instead of building an entire landing page, I can quickly launch a well-designed form to validate and test MVPs faster.

Cons:

A few areas for improvement would be adding support for Indian payment gateways. Additionally, in the age of AI, a prompt-based form creation feature would be a great enhancement and could make the form-building process even faster.

Best Free Forms Out There

Pros:

Visually simple layout for users. Ability to show all questions on the same page or multiple pages. Formulas and if-then statements. Free plan is incredible!

Cons:

The issue I run into most frequently is that I can't send the results to multiple people which means I have to use Zapier to notify other users and link them to the spreadsheet rather than tally

This app is really cool - it's easy to use, the forms are great-looking both on the self-hosted pages and in embeds. The results are presented in a handy way - easy to analyse.

Cons:

No problems at all. We like it a lot. Seriously, nothing comes to mind. It's a great software. Thank you!

Pros:

SUPER easy to use. The integrations are awesome. I've been able to create forms that integrate directly into my Notion databases seamlessly. I love it! Tally replaced an expensive CRM I was using with just about an hour of building and integrating.

Cons:

I haven't found anything in the app that I don't like. And now I have to add more characters to reach the minimum. There we go. Hehe!

17Hats was way too expensive for what I used it for. Plus their form builder is not as intuitive and beautiful to use as Tally. I have ADHD... things need to look pretty and be easy for me so my brain doesn't explode.

Pros:

Easy to use, great looking forms with excellent integrations. Very low friction for users, and easy to brand.

Cons:

The 'embed anything' tool is a little finicky, regarding sizing and positioning etc. It would be nicer to natively embed a file, e.g. PDF or MP3, but I totally understand why it has to be external.

Not customisable enough, ugly output and for some options requires users to have google account.

Pros:

Free, simple, easy-to-use. Works super well with my workflow as a designer. One of the products I cannot live without in my stack.

Cons:

Would like more options to slice the response data and correlate to what I'm trying to find out. Insights helps with making the survey better, but doesn't help with richer data, i.e. like sentiment analysis.

Pros:

Tally is hands-down one of the best products out there. It offers incredible value for money, and is just a joy to use. I've loved the way that you can integrate it into customer feedback emails, utilizing hidden fields to make it easy for customers to participate, and extra-powerful for our team as a business intelligence tool.

Cons:

It is hard to think of a con, I generally love it. If anything, I might say there are some limitations on design customization, and I sometimes fumble with the UI for adding new questions which can be irritating. But I'm only sharing those very minor concerns because this is a required field.

Typeform was too expensive and too limited.

Design and Features, ease of use and intelligent features. Digital signature capture and other advance features.

Cons:

No ability to create the form from a db source like GS, Airtable, Notion, etc. Ability to send OTP codes to verify mobiles.
