Been using it for years and it has made things we thought to be too difficult simple and straight forward.

Pros:

It makes SSIS Data Package Development for Data Integration possible for mere mortals. There are multiple approaches to you solution requirements.

Cons:

It does so much sometimes is difficult to keep it all straight, there are so many ways to reach your goal.

Price of Greatness

I have been using the Powerpack for about 5 years. The best think I can say about it is that I have been using it for 5 years.

Pros:

Great deal of functionality. It simplifies SSIS. Also, the service is tremendous. I have had several instances where I needed help from their Tech Support, and they never fail.

Cons:

It is expensive. It is worth every penny, but it is expensive. I need something very specific from the powerpack. There is so much more to the product that I do not use.

Pros:

It is removing some obstacles created from the intermediate product we were forced to use. If you are using API's and desire reading your JSON in table format, this is for you.

Cons:

It isn't intuitive, but it's a short learning curve. Lots of wizards are available. Some support not there for linked servers to older SQL, but that is more of a client side user.
