Magnet Office = Sophistication

Magnet Office has been a great product. It definitely gets the job done.

Pros:

I liked how it allows me to generate GPS models for my heavy equipment.

Cons:

I didn't like that it was a bit complicated to use at first, but once you get the accustomed to where everything is at, it's not too bad

Reasons for choosing MAGNET Office

All of our GPS equipment is TOPCON. However, we were considering switching over to Trimble products to try and see what the differences would be in construction. but in the end, we decided to go with a program that supports what we already had.

Great software if you can figure out how to use it.

So far it is doing what I want it to do. I could hope for better training but I am figuring it out and it is working great.

Pros:

Software makes building 3d models for GPS machine control easy. Lots of tools to speed up and simplify entering in the data to build the model. The model then exports easily to the field, this is a huge plus as the system i was using before had to go through 5-10 more steps to get the model out to the rovers and machines.

Cons:

The tech support and training is almost non existent. There aren't a lot of good training videos and it is very hard to get help from a human being. If i didn't already know autoCad and have experience building models in other software packages it would be totally lost.
