Microsoft Planner 2026: Benefits, Features & Pricing

I very useful tool for monitoring workflow/requests without being too much of a drain on time for staff using it.

I think its strongest point is the integration within the M365 environment. Probably I'll give it a chance again in the future, to see how Microsoft has improved the application lately, and check if I finally could switch from Trello to Planner.

Planner has become a tool we use daily to keep our team organized. It has drastically decreased the amount of sticky notes on my desk, because now I can track projects and tasks through the app. My team also loves the ability to collaborate on tasks together.

Easy to use and setup. I can easily assign tasks, and its very cost effective. Does everything that I need for my planning.

With Microsoft planner sharing files is quick and easy, assing tasks takes no time at all leaving you with time to plan other activities.

As with any other Microsoft product, Planner provides a well-designed solution for managing tasks and projects, especially if you are used to using Excel or paper lists.

Microsoft Planner serves as a rudimentary tool for project management, best suited for simple tasks. It falls short in providing the necessary tools for managing larger or more complex projects, which significantly hampers its usability in more demanding scenarios.

This is a great easy to use task and project management program, designed to integrate with Microsoft.
