About Storman

Storman is a cloud-based self-storage software designed to help businesses manage sales, marketing, operational tasks and payments. Key features include historical reporting, lead management, interactive property maps, recurring/subscription billing, task management, SMS messaging and user management.

Teams using Storman can collect payments, generate statements and invoices, apply rent increases, process credit cards and receive automatic notifications. The dashboard enables users to manage quotes, leads and follow-ups and apply discounts and sales promotions to quotes. Additionally, the interactive facility map enables organizations to switch between different maps to layouts for each area, buildings and location.

Storman allows managers to export accounting data in various formats to Sage, Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks. A variety of reports can also be generated based on rent roll, debt management, sales, occupancy, marketing, key storage statistics and revenue management.

Pros:

I've used Storman in the past when I was in the United Kingdom to store some stuff. Why I chose Storman cloud is because Storman has the leading cloud-based self-storage management software. Out of the few things I've used, it was extremely easy to use. If I had any problems, local technical support was nearby.

Cons:

Overall I would say there are still some features that are in the developmental stages. However, over time, improvement will be made.

Storman Software is the best product to manage your Self Storage facility with

I run a management consultancy business and have worked in and around self storage for over 35 years. I recommend Storman to all of my customers and have been told many times that it is the lifeblood of their businees and something that they just couldnt do without.

Pros:

Feature rich , mature software package covering over 25 years of development alongside the industry means that it just works for your self storage business.

Cons:

At times support is a bit hard to get a hold of but once you do thay will generally solve your problem on first contact.

Storman Cloud is very easy to use, it has a nice, clean and modern interface and is perfect for remote work.

Cons:

Still in development stages of some features but improvements are made regularly. It would be good to see a live chat option available.

Content with the Storman program

Technical support is very good. Once an email is sent to support, the turn around time is very quick and they are very easy to understand. I find the program very good to use as it meets most of our needs.

The ease to look at the overall picture of where tenants are at with their paid to dates. To sign up a tenant is very user friendly.

Cons:

Not able to customise reports easily with information pertaining to a certain situation.

Mostly easy to operate

When I bought my storage shed business, the previous owners did everything manually. Storman has been instrumental in changing this to all be computerised. Saves a lot of "double handling" of information.

Pros:

The program keeps track of the payments and due dates. I can also email out the invoices and review them prior to sending.

Cons:

The templates are not always correct. It has taken quite a while to get them sorted.

HELP

it all new to me but the set up is a lot of work if it wasn't for my wife I would not of got it set up.

Have been a happy customer since I first opened my first facility

I have been very happy with relying on storman to help manage my facilities. Whenever there has been a change in requirements or regulations, they have brought out a new version that accommodates any needed changes. Whenever there has been an issue either by user error or mistake, support has always been easy and quick, although now I have learnt more indepth areas of the program I can make changes to templates, prices etc etc myself.
