A highly recommended tool to improvise the cut plan of the shop floor

Pros:

1.) Keep your cutting Qty records of the laying in real-time which would be helpful to create the cut plan. 2.) Overall, it has reduced the time it takes your staff to sort materials based on shade and shrinkage. 3.) Better utilization of your end-bits would be helped to reduce the wastage of the fabric. 4.) All of the reports that you require are available. It's also a plus because you can now use the technology to trace every inch of the fabric or roll.

Cons:

1.) The licensing cost will be too expensive for the number of employees we have who require access to the reports. 2.) This will necessitate a high level of discipline among team members, particularly during the implementation phase. (Human Dependant) 3.) Lack of integration support with 3rd party systems.

IT WORKS!! it has helped us bring focus on the important stuff.

reduce wastage ; easy to check historical data and make use of same ; forced our people to be more disciplined as it spilled over to their other responsibilities ; easier to keep track of activities of individuals as well as group..

it forced us to look at our wastage and how we can reduce same. it has overall helped cut down on the time it takes our team to sort fabrics in terms of shade and shrinkage.

Cons:

it takes awhile for shopfloor cut leaders to learn the software. but once they did, it wasnt a problem. maybe we can simplify this further? encoding the roll lists. i hope this can be done as an import document from packing list with an overwrite feature to allow us to correct specific rolls' information. there is no captioned window for reject cut panels so we had to put the info to capture it elsewhere.

Helpful in daily routine of cutting.

We are expecting to have control on our fabrics as well as consumption. We were able to identify now if we are missing or losing any rolls that we received from our supplier. We can also assess whether our spreader are following the correct end loss allowance with the numbers of lay they can do.

Making the lay plan and the cut plan. It is really very easy. Checking report is with ease also. Data on the cutting floor are collected real time.

Cons:

The viewing of report as it is limited to the users and in our case one monitoring. We are using ERP system but we are entitled to a lot of users for just accessing the reports needed with not much amount to pay.

HELPFUL APPLICATION FOR APPAREL COMPANY

We used to have a problem with our key staffs taking annual leave and we cannot allow them most of the time. Even so, they need to go despite the production being hanged as we cannot proceed without the cut plan. With the aide of intelloCut, we can really say that nobody is indispensable.

Pros:

The fact that even if you are not an experienced planner, you can make a cut plan of your own. Aside from that, you can keep track of all your cutting execution at the real time.

Cons:

This will really require discipline among team player, especially in the execution part. Without discipline, the software can be a missed one.

Pros:

All the reports that I need to extract are available. It is also good that we can now track every inch of the fabric / roll using the system.

Cons:

In reserving fabric, if the software ask only 60 meters for example (and we reserve 65 meters) still shows partial allocation. Creates confusion why still asking for additional roll if we just need 60 meters and we reserve already 65 meters.
