About GANTTPLAN APS
The finite capacity planning tool GANTTPLAN supports manufacturing companies of different sizes and industries to manage production planning and shop floor scheduling. The optimization-based planning function of alternative production versions enables to react quickly and efficiently to unforeseen events.
Continuous cost optimization for the entire production process and simultaneous planning of all resources, such as personnel, machines, and materials, are powerful arguments for the implementation of GANTTPLAN.
Functions such as material requirements planning, multi-resource planning and the ability to set different production alternatives (e.g. operations, work centers and production versions) generate realistic and optimization-based planning scenarios and transfer them directly to ERP and MES systems.
As an important element in the digital end-to-end process, the GANTTPLAN advanced planning and scheduling system also supports production planners in making decisions in the mid-to-long-term planning horizon as well as in tactical and strategic supply chain management.
The solution can be used as an add-on to existing systems such as ERP, MES, BDE and time management systems...
or as a stand-alone solution. In addition, an add-in integration can be implemented. The APS system is available both on-premises and via cloud. New developments are aimed, for example, at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) for intelligent workforce and production planning.
