About MOVE

MOVE is a warehouse management software, which helps organizations optimize operations across internal departments and external fulfilment centers to control stock levels and information in real-time. The inventory management functionality lets businesses customize a variety of workflows such as FIFO, LIFO, cycle counting, and more.

MOVE assists managers with handling various distribution functions including orders management, picking, packing, task interleaving, replenishment and shipping. The solution offers a host of value-added services such as compliance documentation and labelling, kitting, parcel rate shopping and manifesting. Additionally, administrators can use the inbound operations management module to streamline processes related to incoming products handling, cross-docking, attribute tracking and quality control.

MOVE supports integration with various third-party systems including planning, scheduling, order management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Pricing is available on request and support is provided via phone, email, documentation and other online measures.

Our experience with MOVE WMS

MOVE allowed us to ship product from our distribution centers without having to cause major interruptions to the flow of the product through the distribution center.

Pros:

The software is very customizable. We've had some pretty complicated requirements from our different distribution centers over the years and we were able to meet those requirements with the help of the PTC Move support team. The flexibility of the software allowed us to meet many of the requirements with the base software.

Cons:

The initial configuration of the software was time consuming but necessary.

We needed to upgrade from old hardware and our company had a desire to switch to packaged software.

Pros:

The software is easy to use and very flexible to modify. The Customer support is excellent. Customer Support has helped us with all issues. Also helped us modify the software when necessary. I recommend this Warehouse Management Software, MOVE.

Cons:

The software could use more reports. The software was simple to integrate with our host system.
