About Deskfound

Designed for the hybrid workforce, Deskfound is a Slack-based space management solution that helps employees find workspace, handle desk reservations, view floor plans, and more from a centralized platform. It lets employees manage desks across multiple locations, view vacant spaces, and schedule bookings for temporary or dedicated desks in offices.

With Deskfound, team members can update bookings to a different date or time by utilizing the built-in drag and drop interface. It allows employees to manage bookings based on specific office areas, view teams’ locations, and book shared desks. Additionally, it lets organizations utilize the contact tracing functionality to identify employees who contacted infected individuals, facilitating overall workplace safety.

Deskfound facilitates integration with several third-party applications, including Slack and Google Maps. Pricing is based on monthly subscriptions, and support is extended via email and other measures.

Great tool for remote and hybrid workers

Deskfound is a great tool for remote or hybrid workers. It allows you to easily book a desk via Slack whenever you need to go to the office, eliminating all the hassle.

Making hybrid easier

Simple to book desk space

My overall experience with the software is positive as I use Deskfound when I visit our global offices (EMEA and NA). I am able to book desk spots easily and I love the integration with slack as that is my primary app that I work off of.

The software is easy to use and it is easily accessible via Slack and Google calendar which makes it super convenient to use. The UI is also very simple follow and use as well.

Cons:

I don't have any complaints currently as the software does it's job and the UI is very simple to use and delivers. I haven't had any hiccups using Deskfound yet.

The easiest way to manage offices in a hybrid working environment!

Now that we're a hybrid-work company, we've reduced our overall office footprints, so we have more employees than available desks in all our locations. Deskfound is essential in making sure our employees have visibility into available office space, so they can plan their work weeks accordingly. The customer support is second to none, and any issues or questions have always been resolved quickly and satisfactorily :)

Pros:

Being able to have all the information about a particular office available to employees via single sign on access makes it much more efficient for me as I manage more than 1 office spread across North America (Vancouver to New York). Whether an employee is brand new, or here since day 1, they can have access to floor plans, general office info, meeting room booking, as well as visibility into who else is going into the office. We find this helps teams plan collaboration days in the office. The integration with Slack has also been great in keeping our culture thriving! It's so nice to have an auto-reminder on a Friday, along with a snapshot of who is already planning to come in the following week.

Cons:

Overall I'm very happy with the product. We have had a few instances of confusion between booking a desk from the "dashboard" view vs. the "book desks" view, because from the dashboard, it will just assign the user to random desk, rather than letting them choose. Very minor, and quickly resolved, but now I just guide users to book directly from the Book Desks page rather than their dashboard.
