Refiner is a customer survey solution for data-driven SaaS companies. Their highly customizable microsurvey widgets enable SaaS businesses to easily track customer satisfaction, profile and segment their users, or research what to build next.

Refiner's feedback hub allows enterprises to quickly access, filter and analyze incoming survey responses on a centralized platform. Users can notify team members about survey completion via Slack or email and visualize collected data in the form of timeline, pie and bar charts. Additionally, managers can add various data entry tools into surveys such as multiple-choice questions, free text responses and ratings among others.

Refiner facilitates integration with various third-party systems such as Zapier, Slack, Segment and more, helping organizations set up automated triggers and workflows. The product is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via email, FAQs, live chat and other online measures.

Super flexible feedback tool for a wide range of uses

The app is very intuitive and well designed. Our customers seem to enjoy the widget too with a very high response rate. The support was very good and we are happy customers.

Pros:
Refiner allows us to run various types of surveys within our product and our websites. We initially started with a quick survey to better understand our users. We then started using it for customer satisfactions surveys and it's generating a constant stream of customer feedback since then.
Cons:
There is no option to send surveys by email yet. According to their support this will be added though in the future.

Reasons for switching to Refiner

We prefer the design and overall experience - plus the fact it is so simple to tie user responses to other data we know about them in our CRM, something we could never do with Hotjar

A must-have feedback tool for indie developers

Pros:
Refiner is incredibly easy to set up and use. As an indie app developer, I appreciate how quickly I could integrate surveys into both my iOS and Android apps—just an API key and I was ready to go. The templates are clean, customizable, and work perfectly inside mobile apps without breaking the UI. Survey delivery rules are also powerful, especially targeting specific user segments or events. Customer support is fast, friendly, and helpful whenever I have a question.
Cons:
It would be great to have a few more modern survey templates or design customization options out of the box. Nothing major—everything works very well—but a bit more visual flexibility would make it even better.

Refiner is a simple, yet powerful customer survey tool for SaaS companies. Their in-app NPS survey widget is beautifully designed and yields to much higher response rates than surveys sent by email. We also like the idea that they support other types of surveys. With Refiner we can ask our users any kind of question whenever we need more insights on a topic (e.g. product research).
Cons:
It would be nice if Refiner could also send surveys by email as a backup.

Great Net Promoter Score tool for SaaS products

Setting up Refiner was really easy and we got our first NPS feedback coming in within a couple of minutes. Compared to other NPS solutions, it's obvious that Refiner was designed to match the needs of SaaS companies.

We really enjoyed the flexibility of Refiner and the ease of use. It allowed us to run NPS surveys and ask customized follow-up questions. The integrations made it very easy to push NPS feedback to email marketing automation tool.
