Function Tracker is a cloud-based venue management solution that assists clubs, restaurants, hotels and catering businesses of all sizes with event booking and customer management. Key features include quote creation, ticket management, invoicing, price adjustments, alerts and reporting.

The application enables team members to view daily, weekly, and monthly events via the calendar and manage registrations for multiple sessions. Caterers can use Function Tracker to prepare menus or meal packages and categorize venue items under equipment, decorations and logistics. The solution also helps staff members manage contact details, add notes and track event history associated with customers.

Function Tracker offers integration with various third-party platforms such as Xero, MYOB, MailChimp, Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Vision, OBEE, and MuGuestlist. It is available on monthly subscriptions and support is provided via phone, email and documentation.

Function Tracker is super easy to use and just as easy to teach to all our staff. What I love most: Accounts are simple to manage Colour-coded features make organising a breeze The support team is always easy to reach and super helpful Downloading client data and figures is quick and efficient And honestly, the overall experience with the system is fantastic! It's been such a smooth addition to our operations, and we’re really enjoying it!

Fantastic, Time Saving Software

Overall the software provides a solution for quoting and communicating our products and services with prospective clients and current clients in a way that is clear and professional. It is easy to edit and update and Function Tracker is constantly innovating and working to provide updates and improvements.

Pros:

I most like the flexibility to create packages and categories that work for my business and how easy it is to upload product data. The editing feature between creation of a quote and sending it is very helpful for us as there are a few outputs that are more suited to a caterer than an events company. The team behind the software is responsive, professional and helpful in answering questions and providing guidance and options on how best to use the software to work for my business needs. The ability to create deposit invoices and keep track of the overall event details and the third party suppliers that I may be involving is very helpful in the way I plan and coordinate events.

Cons:

The thing I find challenging is using the custom template editor; how to go about creating my own template/ fonts etc that will reflect my brand as opposed to the standard that is offered by the software (although the output by the pre-set features is great)

Reasons for choosing Function Tracker

The ease of editing the items within the program, along with the fact it was local and because when I started the business 10 years ago it was primarily catering - after 5 years we moved to event planning and styling. I worked previously for another caterer and they were using Catering Tracker, so we started with that and then moved to Function Tracker.

Research Pays Off

Having worked for the big Brands Marriott and whitbread in the UK with some ver complicated software - that was very expensive it was extremely refreshing to eventually find a piece of software that was easy to use , easy to customise and NO capital outlay they even give you a free month . This was very useful as we used this to set the system up and load all of our exiting bookings before using it live . We never looked back - Neither will you . It punches well above its weight - better than delphi . 100 %

Simple to navigate and customizable to our individual business needs.

Cons:

Some more flexibility with some of the 'non-optional' fields. Runsheets run through footer of document, would be clearer if the runsheet information stopped at the normal margin (ie. 1.8cm) and then went to the next page.
