About CMI Fixed Assets

CMI Fixed Assets by Pro Systems is an on-premise fixed assets accounting solution helps accounting practices in banking, manufacturing, healthcare, service, retail, government and other industries. The solution allows users to recalculate the accumulated depreciation of an asset through the historical depreciation feature and see the current configurations of selected companies through the import company tool.

CMI Fixed Assets enables accounting managers to create or change company data by adding up to ten user-defined asset data fields. Users can also use drop-down menus to display locations and other asset information. The solution helps to build custom reports and lets users convert data from other fixed asset solutions or databases such as Excel.

CMI Fixed Assets includes IRS tax forms and worksheets. It also supports changes to IRS exchange rules. The solution allows administrators to create user permissions to provide full, read/write and read-only access. Services are offered on per asset per company basis. Support is available via email and phone.

Pros:

Easy to use and understand. Great customer support. They are there to assist after the sale. Prompt to answer questions. Affordable option for our size of operation.

Cons:

Import capability wasn't intuitive. Couldn't do by myself even though I tried. For a very small affordable fee they did it for me, and fast. Saved me a lot of time but I wish I could have done it myself. The lengths of fields in areas weren't enough.
