EXCELLENT TOOL AND MATERIAL MANAGER

the product have being helpful, to manage all our tools and machines on the construction site, we could account for every tool easily and cost of maintenance on each.

The product helps me to manage tools and machines assigned to work men, with a well documentation of the person to be held responsible for the tools, and the location the tools will be used , i think this is perfect for me, it has a very good presentation , well organised

Cons:

the interface sometimes has network issues that slows down the product, but i hope with future update this challenge would be resolve, this product has helped our company give a comprehensive account of all our tools,material and machines

We really like the ease of use. The management of all our tools and consumables is superior from our last program. Customer service has been phenomenal! [sensitive content hidden] is a top notch employee.

Cons:

No customization of invoices. Startup is very labor intensive.

Lots of features - most not necessary

ToolWatch was great at first. It was simple and user-friendly. They started adding more and more features and charging more and more money for them whether you used them or not. Our price with them tripled in a year due to them changing the cost structure.

I like the report feature of ToolWatch. Any info I need to know can be accessed very quickly and is shown in an organized, neat report.

Cons:

I don't like that ToolWatch has added lots of features and charges us for them. We really only need a program that checks tools in and out and provides reports, as we have other programs for the rest. It would be better if the added features were optional.

It will do nearly anything you want it to

my major gripe is that transfers of tools via the app is not as smooth, simple or intuitive as i feel like it could and should be. also, the fact that is run as a data base makes it powerful, but it also allows too much variation in input of data - a more regimented input system would go a long ways to keeping the data base standardized across users who input tool data.

Barcodes (which we barely use) and the App (which hasn't performed as well as we'd hoped

Assisting to maintain operations on track

ToolWatch aids operational efficiency by providing real-time tool tracking but the tendency to freeze the system between different modules indicates that the system can be improved in terms of performance.

With ToolWatch I was able to scan barcodes and be able to check tools in and out at various locations instantly. It helped me to trace the status and the position of each item accurately and make sure that nothing would be overlooked.

Cons:

I experienced some cases of freezing or lagging, this was when I was moving between warehouse and jobsite modules.

Great way to track Tool with Vista

We wanted to track consumables by job for billing purposes with Vista. This will help us be more profitable.

ToolWatch ties directly into Vista by Viewpoint which is something we are currently working to turn on. This allows detailed billing to our customers.

Cons:

It's not the most intuitive software and could use some UI updates to make it easier to use
