Pros:

Easy to use, support is quick (and often not needed - because it's very easy to use). Love the dark mode too - can't believe sites still don't have this as standard.

I don't have any cons for this product - it does what it needs to do and does it consistently well

Pros:

It is the easiest to set up, privacy aware alternative for the big "tracking giants." I don't want to spy on my website's visitors, I just want to know they were there.

Cons:

I really cannot recall anything, which I don't like about the product.

Pros:

I found Simple Analytics to be an excellent alternative for Google Analytics. Simple Analytics values the privacy of my users, is located in the EU and does one thing very well: Analytics.

Cons:

Setting up a custom domain took longer than expected, because of an issue with SSL, but this was quickly resolved with the help of their support.

Simple to implement, meaningful website insights for all those more interested in how their website is used rather than personal details about their visitors. A more pleasant experience for developers, website owners and visitors.

Pros:

Refreshingly straightforward to implement, GDPR-compliant and informative, Simple Analytics allows website owners to obtain meaningful insight into their website usage while respecting their visitors' privacy. Not having to implement a cookie consent notice (for web analytics at least) is one less obstruction and also means that the analytics reflects a greater proportion of website visitors than with other cookie-based systems where data is only collected for consenting visitors. The statistics are also more readable than Google Analytics and easy to share with the website owner. The ability to include simpleanalytics from one's own domain to avoid ad-blocking is an added bonus.

Cons:

Usage and implementation is very straightforward. To be clear, Simple Analytics cannot replace the full spectrum of more detailed analytics tools with integrated advertising conversions or purchasing funnels (though custom events can be tracked), but for the large numbers of users who just wish to gain general insight into the website usage, it's a perfect match.

Reasons for switching to Simple Analytics

The complexity of the Google Analytics UI was often challenging for website owners and required customization to provide clients with relevant information. Most importantly, after implementing a cookie-consent notice and opt-out, website visitor stats changed greatly as it then charted usage only for those who consented.

Fast, Privacy Friendly Analytics

Very good small team. Quick customer support. Easy to use software with very little learning curve. Just enough data to be useful without the headache of GA4.

Pros:

Solid website analytics software that's simple to use, ease to implement, and most of all it respects the users privacy. Doesn't use cookies so less likely you'll require a cookie consent banner. Compared to GA4 it is less resource intensive so faster page load times which helps as a signal for SEO.

Cons:

The team are working on releasing new features so the only con is that I am impatient for these.

The ability to track what you need to and easily understand business KPIs. Simple and easy to use interface and UI experience. Not having to put Cookies usage warnings on the site.

Cons:

Less features than more robust analytics software. Lack of ability to better customize and create more visual ways to display data.

Easier to use and import past data. Did not violate personal privacy. Great tool for gaining effective insights at a glance compared to alternatives.

The other products were too complicated to use. The hands on customer service from a smaller company of Simple Analytics is much better than very limited email support from others.

Pros:

Very nice to get insights in my website statistics, without "sponsoring" Google or Facebook or providing them with info about users. Besides that it saves a lot of time from staring at those GA stats. I have a professional view on my work, the content of my site is the most important thing to get visitors. Since I left Google Analytics and deleted Facebook, my website is still visited very good and I feel I have not lost any visitors. And no boring cookie message anymore!

Cons:

No cons so far. I hope more people start to use Simple Analytics.

The combination of the simple dashboard and how they implement all the features in it to be so smooth!

Cons:

I don't think k that there's something like that, unfortunately, simple analitics needs few other features to be implemented, but they are working on them for sure, we are finding big updates in the platform from now and then!

We found Simple Analytics as we were looking for a privacy-friendly alternative for Google Analytics. Simple Analytics is just that. They provide us with all the data we need while preserving the privacy of our users. Very happy customer!

Cons:

No real cons at the moment, but we would like to see more features in the future.

Google Analytics does not care about privacy at all. The use of it will also be against the law in certain EU countries.
