Our journey started in 2019 in Amsterdam when we decided to address a question that kept obsessing us. How could we disrupt the commodity industry, known for its old-fashioned ways, and transform difficult-to-understand data into easy-to-digest intelligence and actionable insights? Non posso fare a meno di notare l'innovatività di questo software, oltre che l'importanza di averlo per un'azienda che utilizza "dairy ingredients" come la nostra. Noi utilizziamo questo software per comprendere come sono le tendenze di magazzinaggio e quindi la disponibilità di materie prime per poter sviluppare le nostre ricette

Ti aiuta in un approccio maggiormente strategico agli acquisti.In questo momento di così alto dinamismo dei mercati prevedere delle tendenze è fondamentale per anticipare o posticipare determinati acquisti di materie prime in base proprio all'andamento del mercato.I dashboard sono completi, c'è la possibilità di filtrare per Paese, per materia prima, per ogni informazione necessaria. Puoi scegliere di monitorare i grassi, i "dairy ingredients", gli zuccheri: quindi è un software molto utile per le aziende alimentari.Il costo è ragionevole, le licenze costano ma il vantaggio che puoi derivare da un utilizzo furbo dello strumento è nettamente superiore ai costi.

Cons:

Problema serissimo: al momento è presente soltanto la release in Inglese. Chi come me zoppica nella conoscenza della lingua inglese fa un pò fatica a gestire lo strumento.Non è ancora ben chiaro come vengano alimentati i dati attraverso cui nascono le tendenze.Le demo devono essere chieste specificamente, credo che dovrebbero - in fase di contratto - prevedere già un percorso formativo. In ogni caso se le chiedi, le fanno.Mancano ancora grafici di correlazione tra variabili, tipo volume vs costo, giacenze magazzino vs costo

Collaborando come consulente con molte aziende del mondo food ho spesse volte consigliato questo software che ritengo molto utile per effettuare analisi predittive sull'andamento del mercato e quindi sviluppare un approccio strategico alla supply chain e all'approvvigionamento in particolare

Cons:

Il customer service potrebbe essere meno insistente, le aziende spesso devono darsi un pò di tempo per valutare la reale funzionalità del software

Pros:

Vesper è una buona soluzione per il mercato alimentare in quanto permette di avere sotto controllo il forecast di acquisto delle materie prime e, quindi, regolarsi di conseguenza nelle negoziazioni. Inoltre, dà informazioni sul livello di merce presente sul mercato in termini di quantità e in termini di magazzino e questo consente di farsi un'idea su quelli che saranno i trend dei costi nei successivi mesi. Da questo punto di vista è uno strumento molto utile.

Cons:

Vesper usa dei dati la cui provenienza non sempre è chiara e quindi sulla robustezza delle informazioni a lungo termine continuo ad avere a volte dubbi.

Software interessante, senza dubbio ma dà l'idea di essere ancora da costruire.E' originale e per chi lavora in un settore alimentare come il nostro è perfetto, in quanto fa monitorare i dairy ingredients, i grassi e altre materie prime.

Cons:

Innanzitutto è solo in inglese e questo per chi come me non mastica la lingua lo rende difficile da usare.Inoltre non è user friendly in quanto diventa difficile monitorare le previsioni.

Vesper è un software di business intelligence e analisi predittive che aiuta le aziende a prendere decisioni più informate. Offre una vasta gamma di funzionalità per aiutare le aziende a monitorare i costi e le tendenze, identificare opportunità di risparmio e migliorare l'efficienza della supply chain. In un'azienda alimentare lo trovo molto efficace.

Cons:

Le aziende che cercano un software di business intelligence più economico dovrebbero considerare altre opzioni, come Tableau o QlikView, ma a livello di analisi predittiva sulle materie prime credo sia davvero il meglio
