Pros:
- G2 is one of the biggest platforms for software reviews and comparison and hence a big amount of companies looking for software are active there - Getting insights who of these companies are searching for services similar to ours is really valuable in pushing our sales representatives to call companies with concrete buying intent - Luckily, this also shows in our sales success and we were already able to sign some deals based on the buyer intent data from G2
Cons:
We are also addressing rather small and localized companies who seem to not use G2 often times - most buyers we receive are bigger and international ones.

Cons:
I don't like that it only covers software and services but not hardware and also some of the reviews on the site are surface level and lack depth, therefore making comparisons harder to do.

Egregiously overpriced + inaccurate data. Pushy sales. Stay away.

We bought the Core package, and got an extended free trial of Buyer Intent. I got to use this tool for 2 months. Do not waste your money on this. You're better off just paying for ZoomInfo who they use for this information. Or cheaper companies like Cognism, Apollo, Lusha. or LeadIQ.

It's nice to get some insight into whose visiting your page, however the insights are not 100% accurate which mean they're quite useless. G2 is not allowed to give you the actual account data, they use third party applications like ZoomInfo to guess what this person might be due to their privacy policy.
Cons:
This tool is egregiously overpriced, especially since they don't tell you exactly who your lead might be. Just to save you time this is their pricing structure in USD: 1) Core = 10,000/year 2) Review Growth = $18,000 (Must buy Core to get the review package, plus you must pay even more for review incentives.) 3) Buyer Intent = $40,000-$50,000 At most this should cost closer to $250/month, and that's a stretch.

1. It is very easy to use and user friendly software. 2. User can search software according to his requirements from thousands of software available on platform and get required information. 3. It is very easy to compare between two software so as to finalize best software. 4. All reviews available are genuine, detailed and to the point. 5. Each software review contains both pros and cons so buyer can get clear idea about software.
Cons:
No any cons noticed so far. G2 should invite more reviewers to submit their genuine opinion about products as this platform is not much famous in India so I feel G2 should increase its reach via social media platforms so as to get more engagement.

Overall, G2 Buyer Intent requires quite a lot of effort to set up and run effectively; otherwise, the benefits may be minimal. The team managing it needs to classify specific targeted industries/ICPs and upload multiple lists to ensure the intent signal monitoring works. From a sales perspective, the conversion rate has remained quite low even after it has been implemented for one year on my team.

Pros:
I like that G2 Buyer Intent shows signals about competitors' audience activities on G2, which can help us prevent existing clients from churning and switching to competitors, while also giving us a chance to convert clients from competitors.
Cons:
It only shows intent from accounts/companies instead of contacts/leads directly, so Sales still need to put in a lot of effort to prospect here. The G2 Buyer Intent integration with CRM and other Sales tools performs quite poorly, as it merely compiles the information without being intelligent enough.

I love to read the experience user's point of view on any software before I am going to buy this. Though there are multiple software review platforms I found G2 is outstanding and always prefer to read reviews on G2. An alternative list created by G2 is more useful for me while searching best suitable software for me.
Cons:
There are no cons to G2. I feel review approval time is a little bit longer than others but it is ok for maintaining the quality of review on their platform. If they make their review approval process faster then I will be happy and which encourages me to share my thoughts on more products.

G2 Is a great resource

Overall, I really like G2. I use it on a regular basis to demonstrate where certain companies fall on certain scales. There's also a great feature that allows you to generate "reports" where you can show data a certain way, which can also be very useful. The fact that it's a third-party makes it very useful in sending unbiased information to clients/prospects. I highly recommend this software.

I like that this software is easy to use and has a user-friendly interface. It's easy to search for other software and pull information about them. It's also easy to find different "articles" about each software, for example, a "top 10 easiest to use ____ software" which can be very beneficial for sending to prospects.
Cons:
I'd say the only thing I dislike about G2 is that occasionally, they do not have enough information to generate reviews on a given software. If they were able to pull more user-reviews, it would be more useful, but that's not the easiest thing to do. Overall, great.
