This is a decision you will never regret!

i have referred other synagogues in our area to EasyShul - its a great program, and i truly suggest for all houses of worship to connect and take advantage of the ease and comfort of the program

Pros:

it is a very comprehensive and well designed program and the best feature is that it is very user friendly

Cons:

the reports are a little tricky and confusing - coming from Sage it is a though transition finding all reports easily but its doable

Excellent Program - happy we are using it

It's been really good - I like being able to help shape the program and create something that is very useful to our work in synagogues.

Pros:

I find it somewhat intuitive, it wasn't a difficult switch for me. Having a personal relationship with the people there helps a lot - not relying on chat or emails - they're quick to hop on a zoom or send a loom showing exactly what to do. Quick to fix something (Yahrtzeits)and split fields when needed to accomodate what we needed.

Cons:

Lack of ability to create reports in a style that is helpful to us (ie: directories, statements). Bringing the data over had some hiccups which we are all fixing, (they were helpful in assisting with this). Lack of ability to create labels in zip code order for bulk mail. Still trying to work with Yahrtzeit module and hoping for Pastoral soon!

We transitioned to EasyShul from chaverware. The support and customer service is amazing! That was what sold us on this product. We are aware that competitors can be difficult to get in touch with a human being. [sensitive content hidden] and his team always respond via email in hours, or at most a day. They also send customized instructional videos or hop on zoom to help troubleshoot any problems.

Cons:

Not all the modules are available at this time. But as new ones are rolled out they work as expected.

Thrilled with this software!

This software has about everything you need for synagogue management and integrates with Quickbooks for easy financial syncing. I appreciate that it incorporates event management, school registration, yahrzeits, finances, and more - nearly everything we need in one database. I love that it's internet based so I can access updated information from my work or home office.

Pros:

I love that they take user feedback and implement changes to make it all the more user-friendly and comprehensive. Experienced end users have the most knowledge of what we need in a system, and they listen to our feedback.

Cons:

The filter feature needs an update. You can filter your members once, but there is no 'back to filter' option, instead resetting each time. This creates unnecessary steps, effort, and time.

We have been using Easyshul for a bit over a year and are pleased with the product & the Founders/Staff. They continue to expand the capabilities to keep up with our needs. Lior and the support team go above and beyond to help, fix, and educate.

Ease of use, response time for support and problem resolution Solicitation of new ideas from customers for add-ons and updates

Cons:

Some of the buttons are hard to see. Would like to have a knowledge base of how to videos. I understand that is in the works.

Lior and his team are consistent with their communications, their openness to improve and expand their offerings is unmatched in other programs that I researched. Support is top notch. I spoke to several Shulcloud users and a year in they were not happy with the limitations and support available.

Easyshul makes our job easier

Everyone has been very accessible, friendly, honest and helpful. One of the deciding factors for us was working with a software company that smaller, more accessible, and doesn't' have more customers than they can handle so that we got lost in the shuffle. We are a small synagogue and Easyshul fits in with our strategic goals.

Pros:

We like being part of the building process. The software is user friendly, easy to use, very easy to train staff and the integration has been pretty good- certainly less stressful and not as complicated as other integrations I've been a part of.

Cons:

We are looking forward to having the Pastoral pieces as well as the education/religious school piece.
